**Directorate** - Reports to Digital Manager
**1. Job Objective**
The Club’s output is intended to raise Saudi Arabian horseracing’s profile, reputation and popularity both locally and internationally, to increase raceday attendance, and to support the Club’s commercial interests by contributing to revenue growth including ticketing, hospitality, sponsorship, membership, horse ownership and non-raceday venue hire. Key audiences will include Saudi entertainment / experience seekers, Saudi corporate audiences, Saudi & international racing fans and racing industry stakeholders including owners and trainers.
**2. Primary Roles and Responsibilities***:
- Operational**
- Produce and customize engaging, relevant and timely video edits and motion graphics in Arabic and English for all JCSA platforms to support domestic audience growth and international awareness / perception of the JCSA and Saudi Arabia as a racing jurisdiction.
- Ensure that all content has a purpose by creating and repurposing stories to engage both Saudi entertainment / experience seekers, Saudi corporate audiences, Saudi & international racing fans and industry stakeholders.
- Assist Digital Manger and liaise with internal stakeholders (especially across commercial and racing teams) to prioritise, plan, schedule and deliver output to support the overarching digital strategy and commercial objectives.
- Willingness to adapt content where necessary based on past experiences, analytics and stakeholder feedback.
- Support creation of content management and archiving systems.
- Support coordination of teams across live race days and events including photographers and videographers.
**3. Job Requirements***:
- Required Education and Experience**
- Experience shooting video and editing video, developing innovative graphics and an eye for great content that is appropriate for a social platform.
- Ability to conceptualise, shoot, edit and upload high-quality content from quick-turn live / ad hoc smartphone videos that are adapted for use across multiple digital platforms to longer-form brand edits with higher spec cameras.
- Graphic design capabilities to develop static graphics, GIFs to full graphic-led videos. Experience with Adobe suite - Premiere, Photoshop, After Effects, Illustrator.
- Proven editorial instincts. Able to identify strong stories and content that will perform well on social platforms and lead content production initiatives end-to-end by engaging multiple stakeholders.
- Experience of producing social media content for an organisation across a variety of platforms to serve its marketing objectives.
- Effective planning and organisational skills with strong time management, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Qualifications in marketing, communications or digital content ideal.
- Knowledge of Saudi Arabian and international horseracing preferred. A willingness to very quickly learn about the sport and the ability to take direction on industry matters absolutely essential.
- Ability to work autonomously and able to take direction and feedback.
- In-depth knowledge of the social media trends in Saudi Arabia and the GCC.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, shoot, and direct high-quality video content for advertisements, social media, product demos, and marketing campaigns.
- Operate DSLR cameras, lighting equipment, and audio recording tools to ensure professional production quality.
- Frame and compose visually compelling shots that align with the brands creative vision.
- Collaborate with the marketing and content teams to bring visual concepts to life.
- Stay updated on the latest videography trends, techniques, and equipment.
- Edit and produce engaging video content for digital marketing campaigns, social media, and website use.
- Implement motion graphics, animations, and effects to enhance video storytelling.
- Optimize video formats for various platforms (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, other.).
- Manage video storage, organization, and archiving.
- Ensure consistency in branding, tone, and style across all video content.
- Work closely with the content team to ensure seamless workflow from concept to delivery.
- Brainstorm and pitch creative ideas for video content that aligns with marketing goals.
- Continuously innovate and experiment with new video styles and techniques to keep content fresh and engaging.
- 3+ years of experience in videography and video editing, preferably in a SaaS or tech environment.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and DaVinci Resolve (or similar editing tools).
- Expertise in operating DSLR cameras, lighting setups, and audio recording equipment.
- Strong understanding of color grading, motion graphics, sound design, and visual storytelling.
- Ability to storyboard, shoot, and edit videos independently or as part of a team.
- Knowledge of optimizing video content for different platforms and formats.
- Bachelors degree in film production, Multimedia, Photography, or a related field is preferred.
- A strong portfolio showcasing your videography and editing skills is required.
- Fluency in both English and Arabic is a must.
- Experience in SaaS or tech-related video content (e.g., product demos, tutorials, explainer videos).
- Familiarity with 3D animation or advanced motion graphics is a plus.
- Certifications in video editing or production tools (e.g., Adobe Certified Expert) is a plus.

Video Editor - short term Contract until end of November
The Role
We are seeking a passionate Video Editor who thrives on creating engaging content that captivates audiences. The ideal candidate will have extensive editing experience with Final Cut Pro X or Adobe Premiere Pro, and preferably Adobe After Effects. This role offers the exciting opportunity to help build a video content brand from the ground up while working on diverse and creative projects.
As a Video Editor, you are passionate about creating content that draws people in & keeps them coming back for more. You have a wide range of editing experience on FCP X or Premiere, and ideally experience with After Effects. You enjoy variety & are passionate about building a video content brand from the ground up.
Responsibilities
The Video Editor reports to the Marketing Manager.
- You will be expected to help create, manage and deliver all video assets for Tahaluf. You will have a strong background in video processes from pre-production planning, production & post-production.
- You are well versed in video editing (final cut pro x/premiere pro) & have a decent knowledge of after effects/illustrator.
- Your job will primarily involve video editing & the creation of motion graphics for promos, highlights & interviews.
- You will be required to be well versed in pre-production, production & post-production processes & be able to turn around content quickly & efficiently.
- You will work on creating promo videos for all events in Tahaluf
- You will work with the editing team on all pre-event pre-records & post-live recordings and delivery
- Transcoding of files into appropriate formats for livestreaming/on-demand & deliver media files in multiple formats
- Editing of highlights/interviews/keynote sessions at virtual and hybrid events across the world
- You will stay ahead of technology changes and make recommendations to improve processes and use of equipment
- Media management & cloud storage
- Interpret & help produce creative briefs and storyboards
Requirements:
- At least 2 years video editing experience (Premiere Pro/FCP X)
- At least 1 year experience in graphics creation (After Effects/Illustrator/Photoshop)
- Willingness & ability to travel and work occasional nights and weekends during event time.
- You can be based anywhere in the world but must be available during Saudi Arabian working hours: Sunday - Thursday 9am-5:30pm AST.
- You will work on creating all virtual/hybrid event branding/graphics within Tahaluf (bumpers, lower thirds, holding slides)
Advantageous:
- Experience in production of online digital media for events & conferences, or television broadcast is preferred
- Advanced graphics creation experience using After Effects will be massively beneficial
*Please note that this is a 3 – 4 month contract role and you will be employed on a consultant basis*
