Duties and Responsibilities:
- Working with WORLEY’s global, regional and local team.
- Providing technical and consulting services to mining clients. These services focus on, but are not limited to:
a) Mining Method Selection
b) Mine Design, Optimisation and Planning
c) Equipment Selection and productivity estimation
d) Cost Estimation ( CAPEX and OPEX)
e) Operational Readiness and Project development
f) Project and Study Management
g) Interaction with other disciplines; e.g. Process, Infrastructure, environmental, earth sciences.
You will do this by;
- Acting as Seller-Doer mining lead, as a Project Manager in some cases, or as a Project Engineer on EPCM and Project Delivery scope/ projects.
- Leading and/or delivering technical and engineering work on Conceptual, PEA, PFS, and FS technical studies.
- Being part of Audit, Due Diligence and Peer Review teams providing input into Business Development strategy and maintain/ expand professional network
- Availability and willingness to travel, site visits and work on-sites will be required as well.
- 10+ years of operational mining experience required, including time in operations and technical services.
- In depth knowledge of mining industry recognised softwares.
- Experience with NI 43-101, JORC and/or similar codes and reports.
- High level English language skills.
