As a Mechanical Assembler, you will be responsible for:
- Assembling components such as compressors, motors, pipes, and baseplates per assembly drawings.
- Operating overhead cranes and handling equipment.
- Working within precise limits or standards of accuracy.
- Assembling/disassembling, adjusting, and installing mechanical parts to meet tolerance and product operating requirements.
- Performing basic mathematical calculations, demonstrating good mechanical aptitude, and using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring equipment.
- Performing testing such as hydrotests and pneumatic tests.
- Aligning centrifugal compressors and electrical motors with gearboxes.
- Complying with all applicable quality, health, safety, and environmental directives and regulations.
- Owning the completion of QC sheets, manufacturing forms, and work completion forms.
To be successful in this role you will:
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Have 3+ years of experience in packaging lines or mechanical assembly.
- Have experience in mechanical activities such as assembly of pipes and equipment, testing.
- Knowledge of packaging manufacturing operations is a plus.
- Experience in alignment for centrifugal compressors and electrical motors with gearboxes is desirable.
- Knowledge of products like centrifugal compressors, gas turbines, electrical motors, and gearboxes.
- Ability to read and understand packaging drawings.
- Knowledge of safety standards and willingness to use protective equipment.

Your background
- A diploma in electrical engineering is required.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a production facility (assembly & testing).
- Understanding of lean concepts & minimizing all related 7 wastes.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and material lists precisely.
- Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
