Candidate:

  • MUST be from Italmatch Chemicals or MUST have previously worked for BWA Water Additives. Only candidates from these companies will be shortlisted and processed

Must-Haves:

  • Bachelor's degree in chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline; MBA is a strong advantage.
  • 7+ years of B2B sales experience in water treatment chemicals or specialty chemicals, preferably with direct exposure to desalination or industrial water management sectors.
  • Proven track record of working with government entities and navigating public procurement frameworks in the Middle East.
  • Fluent in Arabic and English language proficiency is required
  • Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and technical understanding of water chemistry and membrane treatment processes.
  • Experience in managing cross-cultural distributor networks and working independently in a regional setup.

Sales Manager

What You Will Get To Do:

  • Work with Regional Sales Director in the generation of new business software license sales.
  • Work closely with the solution consultancy team to assist them with all presales requests and management of the team approach.
  • Qualify leads and build a pipeline of qualified prospects.
  • Drive and manage sales cycles of SS&C Advent solutions from start to finish, i.e. from lead generation to close.
  • Organize and conduct client meetings, presentations and workshops and understand key requirements through consultative sales analysis, convert needs analysis into full software demonstrations, working in conjunction with the solution consultancy team.
  • Work out client proposals (software solution, services plan and commercial terms.
  • Communicate deal information to management, accurately forecast pipeline, manage revenue recognition issues and deal closure.
  • Conduct business research on prospects, opportunities, competitors and segments and come up with and execute a comprehensive new-business acquisition strategy.
  • Own and drive business development activities, such as working with the consultant influencer and selection companies. Partner up with the marketing team to develop plans for brand awareness and consistent lead generation.
  • Support the regional team and lead relationships with key external partners and influencers in relevant market spaces.
  • Represent the company at relevant industry events and conferences.
  • Sharing insights and deal-related actionable recommendations for product enhancements
  • Internally, this role will actively interact with various cross-functional team members including Solution Consultants, Professional Services, other members of the Sales team, Legal, Accounting, Operations, Data Specialists, Product Managers, Marketing and various members of Senior Management. You will need to effectively leverage internal relationships within the organization to help advance deals through the pipeline.
  • Record and track sales activities on Salesforce.
