Play a key role in on time delivery to customers

Materials Planner & Execution Specialist you will be responsible for planning and scheduling of the materials required to execute the business. Work with operations and supply chain to translate the demand (forecasts, sales orders, planned orders) to physical orders and ensure they are delivered to meet the customer requirements.

Materials Planner & Execution Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Assisting in tracking and maintaining optimal inventory levels based on operational plans and forecasts.
  • Supporting in managing incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring timely and accurate documentation.
  • Monitoring consignment items, repair and return cycles, and SLOB (Slow Moving and Obsolete) inventory utilization.
  • Conducting periodic inventory and asset counts, reconcile discrepancies, and maintain audit-ready records.
  • Maintaining accurate records of material transactions, including receipts, issues, transfers, and disposals.
  • Supporting documentation for hazardous materials handling and disposal in compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

  • Have a Highschool Diploma with1-2 Years experience in Logistics, or related field or relevant industry equivalent experience
  • Have experience 1-2 years in inventory/materials management.

  • Have proficient skills in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).

  • Advises the immediate head in case of wide variations in the plan versus actual completion.
  • Adjusts schedules to accommodate backlogs and follow-up.

Periodic Shop Floor Performance Reports:

  • Prepares and submits weekly schedules and the monthly performance report to the Operations Manager for review and reference.
  • Issues production output plan to Project Management for review and reference.
  • Organize monthly production.

Production Orders:

  • Ensures the necessary manual operations are properly coded by the production planners.
  • Sends inquiries and receives quotations for miscellaneous operations which cannot be performed in-house.
  • Issues, coordinates and monitors Production Orders to subcontractors.
  • Coordinates with Engineering for the release of drawings required to load at production.
  • Coordinates with Estimation for allocation based on priority and engineering release.

Cost Control and Budget Management:

  • Achieve cost targets for production activities.

  • Identify areas where cost-saving measures can be implemented (e.g., reducing waste, optimizing energy use).

Control of Consumables in Production Store

  • Ensures availability of safety stock and minimum stock levels for all consumables.
  • Controls issuance of "A" Class items and all paints.

Inventory Management and Control

  • Ensure accurate inventory levels are maintained to meet production needs.
  • Reduce inventory holding costs while avoiding production disruptions.
  • Implement Just-In-Time (JIT) or other lean inventory strategies.

Safety and Compliance Management

  • Maintain a safe working environment by ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
