We are seeking an experienced Material Engineer to manage all technical aspects of construction materials, ensuring compliance with project specifications, international standards, and regulatory requirements. The role involves coordination with suppliers, consultants, and project teams to guarantee high-quality, approved materials are used across all civil and architectural works.
Key Accountability Areas- Prepare, review, and submit material submittals (technical data sheets, certificates, samples, test reports) as per project specifications.
- Coordinate with consultants, clients, and site teams for timely material approvals and implementation.
- Verify vendor offers and supplier documentation for compliance with standards and project requirements.
- Maintain material submittal logs, approvals, test results, and related technical documentation.
- Support procurement in technical evaluation and supplier prequalification.
- Recommend alternative materials for value engineering where applicable.
- Strong knowledge of construction materials (concrete, waterproofing, finishes, façades, cladding, insulation, gypsum, doors/windows).
- Familiarity with international standards (ASTM, BS, ACI, ISO) and local codes (e.g., SBC).
- Proven experience in material submittals, approvals, and technical coordination.
- Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and document control systems.

Materials Planner & Execution Specialist you will be responsible for planning and scheduling of the materials required to execute the business. Work with operations and supply chain to translate the demand (forecasts, sales orders, planned orders) to physical orders and ensure they are delivered to meet the customer requirements.
Materials Planner & Execution Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Assisting in tracking and maintaining optimal inventory levels based on operational plans and forecasts.
- Supporting in managing incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring timely and accurate documentation.
- Monitoring consignment items, repair and return cycles, and SLOB (Slow Moving and Obsolete) inventory utilization.

To oversee the procurement, storage, and usage of raw materials within a manufacturing or production environment, ensure materials meet quality standards, are properly inventoried, and are available to meet production schedules. Manage personnel and promote a safe work environment and related activities within the Raw Material Storage section of Bakery, in compliance with company policy and procedures.
Key Accountability- Ensuring accurate inventory levels, proper storage, and efficient handling of raw materials.
- Receives, stores, and issues supplies and equipment and compiles records of supply transactions; ensures that supplies received are listed on requisitions and invoices.
- Familiar with material descriptions (specification, unit of quantity, application) to provide the right materials requisitioned.
- Familiar with the location of material to locate and issue the requisitioned material in time and in the right quantity.

- Apply a physical classification system so items of similar nature are stored in predesignated locations for ease of access and optimized material handling.

- Maintain cleanliness of the warehouse and forklifts; sanitation activities should be performed at the beginning and end of the shift on a daily basis.
- Strictly implement FIFO and FEFO systems and the traceability system.
