**Job Purpose**:
Provides or coordinates technical, commercial, legal, administrative, financial and operational planning and support for Saudi Aramco's doemstic and overseas bulk crude oil and refined products sales and supply logistics. Requires both operational and business expertise to routinely coordinate with all levels of Management and professionals with customers, suppliers, refineries, storage terminals, pipeline operators, shipping companies and specialized service contractors. A senior expert within this profession, the incumbent shall coordinate human resource management by supervising and mentoring subordinates, assess competencies and recommend development plans.

**Responsibilities**:
Depending on the particular assignment within the Department, the incumbent:
A. Provides technical, commercial and logístical support regarding development of and negotiating strategies for sales/purchase contract procurement and provides like support regarding procurement of offshore storage, pipeline, shipping and specialized service contracts.
B. Provides or coordinates technical, commercial, legal, administrative, financial and operational planning and support for administering all above mentioned agreements.
C. Prepares forecasts of domestic and international crude/product deliveries using cargo nominations from both domestic and international customers.
D. Handles all routine and abnormal coordination of cargo scheduling, vessel berthing, documentation and management reporting concerning crude/product deliveries. Coordinates customer vessel schedule/cargo change requests to meet customer needs while maximizing quota sales revenues and maintaining crude production forecasts and domestic refnery demand.
E. Coordinates scheduling imported products with Product Sales and Marketing department, customers, OSPAS, terminals and refineries to meet local demand and manage inventories along with local refinery production.
F. Monitors progress of tanker voyages to ensure that deliveries are met in the most economic and efficient manner within the commitments and terms of applicable sales or purchase agreements.
G. Monitors cargo movement/measurement operations and data provided by specialized service contractors to assure that sales volumes invoiced or paid are accurate and in accordance with applicable sales or purchase agreements.
H. Monitors performance and costs of service contractors to assure that Saudi Aramco and industry standards are adhered to and minimize voyage and storage losses.
I. Monitors vessel laytime and demurrage to assure that any amounts invoiced or paid are accurate and in accordance with applicable sales or purchase agreements.
J. Maintains business communications and relations with all customers, suppliers and service companies in regard to ongoing operations, inquiries or disputes.
K. Provides direct supervision to lower level employees.
L. Performs all human resources management functions normally performed by a unit head.
M. Perform any other job requested by the Department Manager.

**Education & Experience Requirements**:
A. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, any of the Physical Sciences, Business Administration, Economics, Mathematics, Maritime Studies, Maritime Law or Naval Architecture.
B. At least twelve (12) years experience in the oil industry some background in either Petroleum Sales/Supply Logistics, Commercial Shipping, Maritime Law, Refinery or Terminal Planning or Operations, Petroleum Accounting or Auditing. Enhanced experience shall be seagoing experience on bulk petroleum tankers while holding a United Kingdom department of Transport Class 1, Foreign Going (Deck) Certificate of Competency or employment as an independent marime/petroleum cargo surveyor plus management level experience with an industry respected inspection firm having concentrated involvement in the implementation

The Sustainable Fuels Division is responsible for defining and continuously evolving the company’s sustainable fuels strategy, aligned with global trends, regulatory dynamics, and corporate priorities, while also identifying strategic opportunities across feedstock, production technologies, and end markets, including innovative solutions such as SAF, e-fuels, and renewable diesel.

Your primary role will be to analyze market trends and policy regulations, identify business opportunities, and developing a cutting-edge technology investment portfolio that leverages our conventional oil business capabilities. This role requires strong stakeholder engagement, technical, and commercial expertise in the sustainable fuels sector.

Key Responsibilities

As the successful candidate you will be required to perform the following:

  • Provide market trend analysis and insights on sustainable fuels, including policy and regulatory developments, to inform business strategy and investment decisions.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Energy Management, or a related field (required). Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration (MBA), Economics, or a related discipline is (preferred).
  • 10 years of experience in corporate finance, planning, strategy, or treasury roles within the energy, oil and gas, or related industries.
  • Professional certifications such as CFA, CTP, or FRM (preferred).
  • Advanced knowledge of corporate finance principles, including capital budgeting, valuation techniques, and financial modeling.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Hyperion, or similar) and advanced data analysis tools (e.g., Python, R, or MATLAB) for scenario analysis and forecasting.
  • In-depth understanding of IFRS standards and their application to corporate finance and treasury reporting.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and align financial strategy with corporate goals.
  • Strong expertise in energy market analysis, with a proven track record of translating supply-demand trends into strategic financial insights.

**Key Accountabilities**:
**The position involves**:

- Develop marketing and communication strategy to support the federation’s overall objectives - Manage and implement the marketing strategy with consistent reporting of KPIs and metrics both to the CEO and across the organisation as necessary.
- Manage and direct the efforts of the marketing staff across departments (Membership & Growth, Marketing & Commercial, Partnerships & Sponsorships, and Media & Channels) and coordinate at the strategic level with the other functions of the organisation.

- Ensure digital and social media plans are developed and executed in line with the federation’s objectives.
- Coordinate with the budgeting and procurement departments on managing campaigns expenses.
- Provide a timely and accurate monthly forecast for areas of responsibility.
- Oversee the current offerings & introduce initiatives for new products or services to promote the federation.
- Coordinate media interest in the federation, ensure regular contact with target media, and act as the federation’s representative with media.
- Work collaboratively with internal and external partners in identifying and leveraging campaign insights to achieve the federation’s objectives.
- Keep up to date on industry best practices and emerging strategies to keep the marketing relevant through compelling creativity and messaging.
- Adhere to working hours and carry out the usual daily tasks and any other additional tasks assigned by the administration and related to the nature of work. For instance, working overtime or during official and annual holidays and national occasions, as required by the federation’s needs

**GENERAL DESCRIPTION AND MISSIONS**
- Define the Region strategy and its contribution to the SBP process while supporting Corp/GBUs/BLs in the definition and the coordinated execution of their in-country strategies.
- Provide BLs with insights on local market dynamics, opportunities & competitive environment, needs and expectations to grow the pipeline. Enrich and guide BLs market participation strategy, product policy prioritization/adjustments and marketing plans.
- Contribute to the Group M&A strategy execution through target identification, participation in the development of acquisition rationale, and integration of the target into Thales.
- Develop the strategic narrative that demonstrates the economic and social value of Thales to the local economy to maximize opportunities for local investment funding.
- Assess the opportunity for greater pull-through of Group products to the country of destination in coordination with the BLs.
- Identify transversal multi-GBU customer or market segment requirements to underpin the need for new segment-based offers.
- Support and animate the region SAMs/KAMs population in the definition and activation of their account-focused engagement plans. Develop/personalize account-specific integrated value propositions and value selling content. Leverage relevant segment marketing content & campaign assets.
- Localize, develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns - activated through the Communications team channel strategy - in support of the local reputation of the company and region demand generation efforts. Leverage Digital Marketing capabilities to optimize local customer engagement. Track campaign KPIs.
- Develop and execute the local Sales Enablement efforts.
- Support complex capture teams that are tuned to local customer selection criteria, with the support of value & bid marketing (value props, Price to Win, black hats ) and support achievement of GMOI targets.
- Drive local Marketing Network excellence and the performance plan aligned to the changing needs of the business and end-user markets.

- Proven background in the Aerospace industry
- Commercial and Project knowledge skills to manage project delivery issues and develop strategies on new business
