Job Summary
As the Market Access Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accessibility of MS Pharma's products to patients across Saudi Arabia. You will manage pricing, reimbursement, and health economics strategies, working closely with key stakeholders to demonstrate the value of MS Pharma's products. Your work will focus on supporting product market entry and growth, with an emphasis on enabling timely access to treatments and improving patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
Patient Focus:
Ensure that all market access strategies are patient-centric, prioritizing treatment access and outcomes improvement for patients in Saudi Arabia.

Market Access Strategy:
Develop and execute effective market access strategies to ensure successful reimbursement for MS Pharma's portfolio, ensuring products are accessible to patients across different healthcare settings.

Stakeholder Engagement:
Build and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders, including caregivers, policymakers, health insurers, and healthcare professionals, to align on access needs and support favorable product access.

Policy Advocacy:
Stay informed on evolving healthcare policies and regulations within Saudi Arabia. Advocate for policies that highlight and support the economic value of MS Pharma's products to improve patient outcomes.

Health Economics:
Lead the creation of health economic models (e.g., cost-effectiveness, budget impact) to clearly demonstrate the value of MS Pharma's products to payers, policymakers, and other key decision-makers in the healthcare system.

Regulatory and Payer Interactions:
Engage with regulatory bodies, payer organizations, and key opinion leaders to advocate for timely reimbursement decisions and the inclusion of MS Pharma's products in relevant formularies.

Competencies

Job Requirements

Job Summary/Main Purpose

The Market Access Manager works with stakeholders such as customers, Insurance Companies, NGOs & governments, etc., to ensure the company is valued and respected partner in healthcare. Anticipate the future trends in the market, developing an innovative response in order to proactively build sustainable competitive actions. Effectively support introduction of new compounds rapidly into the market for the widest commercial indications at a price which commensurate with the value of the new product. Ensure current and new indications are included in formulary listings in a timely manner.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Obtain government, insurance companies, and health care providers' reimbursement to allow for maximum patient access to Julphar products.
  2. Develop and execute market access strategies to influence and accelerate favorable pricing and reimbursement decisions for key market brands and new launches.
  3. Participate actively in all steps of pricing & reimbursement planning, execution, and negotiation, incorporating health economic tools into the local pricing negotiation process to ensure enlisting of the annual agreed products in the insurance formulary and key accounts.
  4. Interact in external debates around access, pricing, and reimbursement issues with the aim of achieving better market access to Julphar products.
  5. Plan for new programs or implement existing global access models tailor-made to local country needs and be responsible with cross-functional teams on commercial and corporate impact.
  6. Accountable for ensuring qualitative and quantitative input for Julphar assigned products reflecting the insurance quantitative potential and uptake of Julphar products and incorporating it into the yearly country budget and strategic Plans for planning accuracy in coordination with the line managers and key account managers.
  7. Ensure the best launch and in-market prices according to the market situation, aligned with company strategies.
  8. Participate in local Market Access activities towards alignment, sharing experiences and best practices.
  9. Capture insights about competitors' activities and actions in order to influence company business strategy formulation.
  10. Support inter-disciplinary negotiations on treatment guidelines with key authorities in order to maintain reimbursement levels for the adequate use of the therapy with a focus on patients access and outcomes.
