Production Support Expert - SAS Risk Management System

Job Description
We are seeking a Production Support Expert with strong expertise in SAS Risk Management Systems to ensure the stability, availability, and performance of mission-critical risk and regulatory applications. The candidate will be responsible for resolving incidents, monitoring batch jobs, supporting business users, and working closely with IT and risk teams to meet operational SLAs.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide L2/L3 production support for SAS Risk Management solutions, including batch processing and report generation
- Monitor and troubleshoot SAS Grid jobs, ETL pipelines, and database interactions
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to data ingestion, model execution, and regulatory report generation
- Analyze and interpret SAS logs, Grid logs, and database logs to identify root causes of failures
- Support regulatory reporting processes such as Basel III/IV, IFRS 9, CECL, ICAAP, etc.
- Assist in code deployments, patching, and environment migrations (DEV/TEST/PROD)
- Maintain system health and job schedules using Control-M, Autosys, or cron
- Collaborate with risk modelers, compliance teams, and IT infrastructure to resolve production issues
- Create and maintain documentation including runbooks, SOPs, RCA reports, and support guides
- Ensure adherence to ITIL processes for incident, change, and problem management
- 5+ years experience with SAS tools: Base SAS, SAS Grid, SAS EG, SAS DI Studio
- Strong Unix/Linux skills and experience with shell scripting (bash/ksh)
- Proficient in SQL and Oracle or similar RDBMS
- Experience with job schedulers like Control-M, Autosys, or UC4
- Familiarity with risk data models (PD, LGD, EAD, RWA) and regulatory reporting requirements
- Ability to read and debug SAS logs and troubleshoot data/model issues
- Experience supporting SAS solutions for credit, market, or operational risk
- Understanding of regulatory compliance frameworks (Basel II/III/IV, IFRS 9, CECL, etc.)

Overview:
The Manufacturing Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing all aspects of manufacturing operations to ensure efficient, cost-effective, and high-quality production. This role is crucial for achieving company goals, maintaining compliance with Saudi regulations, and driving continuous improvement within the factory environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily manufacturing operations and manage production schedules to ensure timely delivery of products
- Implement cost-effective production methods while maintaining and improving quality standards
- Lead and develop the manufacturing team, including recruitment, training, performance management, and fostering a culture of safety and excellence
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste
- Ensure compliance with Saudi health, safety, and environmental regulations, as well as any industry-specific standards
- Monitor and analyze production KPIs, such as efficiency, downtime, cost management, and quality metrics, and take corrective actions as needed1
- Coordinate with supply chain, engineering, and quality assurance teams to ensure seamless operations and timely material flow
- Maintain and schedule preventive maintenance for all manufacturing equipment to minimize downtime
- Prepare and present regular performance and progress reports to senior management
- Support business growth by developing and executing plans for capacity expansion, process upgrades, and new product introductions
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of managerial experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably within Saudi Arabia or the GCC region
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, production management, and regulatory compliance in Saudi Arabia
- Proficiency in ERP systems, lean manufacturing tools, and Six Sigma methodologies
- Excellent leadership, team management, and coaching skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English (Arabic is an advantage)
- High integrity, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure
- Valid driving license and willingness to travel as required
- Experience in sectors relevant to Saudi industry, such as geodesic domes, oil industry components, or metal manufacturing, is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with Saudi customs clearance and import procedures is a plus

- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field. - Minimum of 7 years of experience in HSE management within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the tyre or automotive industry. - Strong knowledge of Saudi Arabian HSE regulations and international standards such as ISO 45001 and ISO 14001. - Proven leadership skills with the ability to influence and engage employees at all organizational levels. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities to identify risks and develop effective solutions. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including proficiency in English; Arabic language skills are a plus. - Certification in occupational health and safety (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) is highly desirable. - Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
