Given below are a CNC job description and the major tasks, duties, and responsibilities of the
role:
This is an alloy wheel which has been put on a lathe cnc machine and part of or the entire
painted surface of the wheel machined off to leave a shiny alloy finish. A small part of the actual
alloy is machined off to create this finish. It is then lacquered or powder clear coat over to
prevent corrosion.
When Alloy Wheel diamond cutting CNC machine are used to refinish alloy wheels, the
procedure is quite straightforward with simply 3 steps: A. Digitizing the typical wheel surface to
produce the G-code for the machining profile. B. Trial-run procedure. C. Machining Procedure.
The digitizing probe is usually installed on the tool post of the Diamond Cut Alloy Wheel CNC
lathe to record the rim profile before machining. To begin this process, the CNC operator sets
up the starting and finishing positions for each alloy wheel. In most cases, the typical profile
should be continuous pass along the spoke from center of the hub to the outside edge of the lip.
Then, the digitized profile will be tested during the Trial-Run before the final machining process.
