The packaging machine operator primary purpose is to run the packaging machine efficiently and effectively. Achieving the production targets while increasing the M/C efficiency .Gathered hourly data of machines throughput, use packaging material efficiently, manage the packers working on his assigned tubes and maintain the good manufacturing practice at all times within his area.

Your Role:

The Technical Machine Operator operates equipment that requires specialized training due to mechanical or technical skills that must be learned. May require significant operator interaction to perform setups, monitor equipment and make decisions that require complex machine adjustments.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Must meet all requirements of a GMO
• Perform operations in a safe manner.
• Review equipment at the beginning of shift to ensure proper working order.
• Ensure needed materials are ready and notify supervision of shortages.
• Adjust equipment parameters as stated in the router.
• Operate equipment as stated in the router.
• Perform quality checks per control plan.
• Complete hour by hour boards with documentation of issues if goals are not attained and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Monitor equipment to ensure optimum running and notify supervision of any equipment issues.
• Maintain and clean equipment before and after each shift.
• Complete operator specific preventative maintenance procedures.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

The general role for the Milling Operator (VMC Machine Operator) is to measure each large and small component to ensure they will fit together properly in the final design as well as is to identify potential problems by understanding machine specifications and drawings before the production process.
Key Responsibilities & Authorities

• To Produces machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine; maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; maintaining equipment and supplies.

Qualifications: DAE Mechanical, DAE Instrumentation, BSC Mechanical Engineer, B.E Mechanical Engineering.

Responsibilities: Must be able to read blueprints, load the work piece (raw stock), set up the machine (load the drill and cutting tools), and operate the machine - usually a mill or a lathe. Editing the computer program is required. Some machinists can actually do the programming. Will have their own machinist tools, including precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, etc.).
