Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 8-9 years of experience in software development with a strong understanding of fundamental programming concepts, data structures, and algorithms.
- 3-4 years of hands-on experience as a Developer on the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) developing and deploying applications, with a focus on microservices.
- Proven ability to design, develop, and deploy microservices using various GCP services.
- Strong proficiency in at least one major programming language (e.g., Java, Python, Go), with experience building microservices in that language.
- Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration on GCP (e.g., GKE) for microservices.
- Familiarity with API design and management for microservices.
- Experience with service discovery, inter-service communication, and message queues relevant to microservices architectures (e.g., Pub/Sub, gRPC).
- Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Cloud Deployment Manager for managing microservices infrastructure.
