As a Legal Specialist, you will be responsible for handling and managing a range of legal matters and providing legal support to the business. You will also be asked to manage the Company’s litigation matters, represent the Company before the Courts of law, and draft and review contracts for the Company.
In this role, you will:
- Oversee the Company’s legal cases and represent the Company as its duly appointed counsel before the Courts of law;
- Draft and vet documents related to litigious matters, including but not limited to suits, defences, and applications;
- Assist in the resolution of legal disputes and achieving out-of-court settlements where so required;
- Review and draft legal documents, including resolutions, powers of attorney, confidentiality agreements (NDAs), contracts, SLAs, company policies, etc. for Legal counsel’s review;
- Provide legal advice and guidance on various legal matters;
- Conduct legal research and stay updated on applicable laws and regulations;
- Assist with company secretarial matters, including filings, registrations, licences, etc;
- Liaise with government authorities if needed in relation to the establishment and maintenance of companies;
- Develop and implement legal compliance programs and initiatives;
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure legal compliance and risk management;
- Maintain accurate and organised legal records and documentation; and
- Provide administrative support to other members of the legal team to ensure that the team is able to work efficiently.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Law or equivalent.
- Currently licensed, admitted to practice and in good standing to appear before the Courts of KSA.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Legal Specialist or similar role;
- Litigation experience, especially in employment disputes, with a track record of successful case management and client representation.
- Experience in contract review, contract drafting, and legal research.
- Excellent drafting skills and the ability to grasp and navigate complex legal matters;
- Strong knowledge of KSA laws and regulations with good understanding of legal concepts;
- Fluency in English and Arabic (including legal drafting);
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Well-organised and capable of managing multiple matters efficiently and prioritising appropriately;
- Articulate, with strong commercial acumen;
- High ethical standards and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and protecting sensitive information.

Position Title:
Legal Supervisor of Litigation
Job Objective:
Oversee and manage all litigation and disputes related to the company (labor, commercial, civil, administrative, and criminal), follow up with judicial authorities, external lawyers, and legal advisors, and ensure the protection of the company's interests and legal rights in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage litigation and disputes by receiving and reviewing cases filed against the company or initiated by the company, preparing a follow-up plan for each case through its judicial stages (first instance, appeal, supreme court), and supervising the drafting and review of legal memoranda and pleadings before submission to the competent authorities.
• Coordinate with external legal advisors and lawyers, monitor their performance, and communicate with internal departments such as HR, Finance, Operations, and Contracts to provide the required documents supporting the cases.
• Stay updated on laws, regulations, and directives related to labor, commercial, and regulatory disputes, and submit periodic reports to senior management on potential legal risks along with recommendations to mitigate them.
• Manage the litigation team (lawyers and legal researchers), distribute tasks, and monitor performance while ensuring compliance with quality and confidentiality standards.
• Prepare regular reports on ongoing and closed cases and provide recommendations to management regarding settlements or preventive measures to avoid future disputes.
Qualifications and Experience Required:
• Bachelor's degree in Law; Master's degree in Commercial Law or Labor Law is preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in litigation management.
• In-depth knowledge of Saudi laws, including the Labor Law, Law of Procedure before Sharia Courts, Criminal Procedure Law, and Commercial Laws.
• Strong skills in negotiation and drafting legal memoranda.
• Fluency in Arabic; proficiency in English for contracts and pleadings is considered an advantage.

• Strong leadership and managerial skills to lead a legal team.
• High attention to detail in following up legal matters.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple cases simultaneously.
