As a Legal Specialist, you will be responsible for handling and managing a range of legal matters and providing legal support to the business. You will also be asked to manage the Company’s litigation matters, represent the Company before the Courts of law, and draft and review contracts for the Company.
In this role, you will:
- Oversee the Company’s legal cases and represent the Company as its duly appointed counsel before the Courts of law;
- Draft and vet documents related to litigious matters, including but not limited to suits, defences, and applications;
- Assist in the resolution of legal disputes and achieving out-of-court settlements where so required;
- Review and draft legal documents, including resolutions, powers of attorney, confidentiality agreements (NDAs), contracts, SLAs, company policies, etc. for Legal counsel’s review;
- Provide legal advice and guidance on various legal matters;
- Conduct legal research and stay updated on applicable laws and regulations;
- Assist with company secretarial matters, including filings, registrations, licences, etc;
- Liaise with government authorities if needed in relation to the establishment and maintenance of companies;
- Develop and implement legal compliance programs and initiatives;
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure legal compliance and risk management;
- Maintain accurate and organised legal records and documentation;
- Provide administrative support to other members of the legal team to ensure that the team is able to work efficiently.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Law or equivalent.
- Currently licensed, admitted to practice and in good standing to appear before the Courts of KSA.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Legal Specialist or similar role;
- Litigation experience, especially in employment disputes, with a track record of successful case management and client representation.
- Experience in contract review, contract drafting, and legal research.
- Excellent drafting skills and the ability to grasp and navigate complex legal matters;
- Strong knowledge of KSA laws and regulations with good understanding of legal concepts;
- Fluency in English and Arabic (including legal drafting);
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Well-organised and capable of managing multiple matters efficiently and prioritising appropriately;
- Articulate, with strong commercial acumen;
- High ethical standards and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and protecting sensitive information.

Provide legal expertise and guidance to ensure compliance, manage risks, and support business objectives effectively.
Accountabilities :
- Handle all legal matters, including contract review, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements.
- Provide legal advice on regulatory compliance and corporate governance.
- Manage legal risks and ensure adherence to laws and regulations.

Governance/Board Secretary Services: including but not limited to attending meetings with the General Legal Counsel, distributing meeting agendas and supporting documents, taking meeting minutes, preparing resolutions, maintaining and filing records properly, ensuring passed resolutions/recommendations are addressed, monitoring deadlines (internal or statutory requirements), supporting the board in arranging logistics and travel, and liaising with the Public Investment Fund on matters such as:

Job Description
Exciting opportunity for an experienced lawyer to join dynamic legal team in JLL MENA as its in-house legal counsel and contribute to the company rapid growth in the Middle East.
You will work as in-house lawyer for our business activities in the Middle East working closely with the business and company stakeholders to ensure timely and professional level of support in managing legal activities.
RESPONSIBILITIES include:
- Provide full-scale day-to-day operational legal support for all legal affairs within JLL MENA/MEA business (contractual, corporate, labor, litigation).
- Prepare and review contracts and negotiate independently with clients and contractors (service agreements, construction agreements, agency agreements, facility management agreements, lease agreements, supplier agreements, etc.)
- Provide assistance to Head of Legal MENA/MEA on corporate matters related to the region including incorporation/liquidation of legal entities, amendments to the constitutional documents, resolutions, etc.
- Independently review, interpret, evaluate, and analyse relevant laws and regulations and provide updates on critical legal changes to Head of Legal MENA/MEA.
- Provide legal advice to business and company stakeholders on regulatory matters relating to operation of the company.
- Ensure the company’s operations and legal documents are prepared in compliance with JLL practices, policies and applicable laws.
- Assist and handle insurance, license related matters, claims and disputes involving the company.
- Coordinate, analyse and manage work with the external legal counsel(s) and liaise with the wider region and EMEA when required.
- Provide assistance to Head of Legal MENA/MEA in developing local polices and adopting global policies for the region.
- Provide any other support on as-needed basis to Head of Legal MENA/MEA.
Successful candidate should possess the following characteristics:
- law degree from leading law schools in KSA;
- Five (5+) years of post-degree work experience, preferably in multicultural environment.
- Past work experience in an international law firm in real estate practice, construction or real estate consulting will be strong advantage.
- Proficiency in oral and written Arabic and English is mandatory.
- High level of integrity, good communication skills and team oriented.
- The individual should be senior level professional with good commercial thinking and business judgment, strategic and tactical implementation of company business goals, high level of responsibility, initiative and ability to assume independent role in managing with a ‘can-do’ attitude, exceptional level of ethics.
