- Responsible for discipline based technical oversight and compliance of contractors, ensuring works are carried out as per the drawings, specifications and standards, as per schedule and ensures compliance to ES&H plans, quality standards and local/national regulatory safety codes
- Responsible for coordinating across disciplines and with Engineering to provide timely and accurate information for the Construction teams
- Monitor performance within the discipline of the installation contractors, project status, schedule, cost control, change management systems. From time to time, will need to work across disciplines
- Lead site based technical coordination with contractors, engineers, client, and other stakeholders
- Leads input to ensure continuous construction work fronts availability through review of look ahead schedules, commodity charts, resource charts, engineering deliverables, material delivery schedules and any other service requirements including contractor submittals
- Ensures required permits and licenses are in place prior to the start of the specific work at site. Verifies compliance with Permit and License requirements and stipulations
- Responsible for a team of Civil/Structural Field Engineers who will be reviewing and approving the contractor's submittals, technical queries, Field change documents and other technical documents including Drawings and As-Builts
- Ensure all materials and equipment on the site fully comply with international standard and technical specification requirements
- Ensure the closure of project is systematic and complete in all respects
- Maintains an effective relationship with other functional departments and coordinates all jobsite contractual activities
- Provide guidance and technical advice to the Construction Civil Engineers, contractors and monitor their performance
- Coordinates and monitors interfaces with other contractors, lead the review meetings
- Requires bachelor's degree in Structural/Civil (or international equivalent) and 10-13 years of relevant experience or 14-17 years of relevantwork experience
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal relationship skills at varying levels of the organization.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure with changing priorities and deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to effectively influence outcomes and escalate issues appropriately.
- Must be a self-starter and highly motivated to succeed.

Responsibilities:

My client is a well renowned architecture and engineering firm based in Riyadh. They are well respected in the region, often winning large scale projects included some mega projects. We are urgently looking for a Senior Bridge Engineer to carry out all required analysis, design and studies related to bridge structural works.
**Responsiblities**:
- Lead all elements of the conceptual, preliminary, and detailed final design of the new bridge.
- Executing bridge design using computer-aided structural engineering and design software.
- Preparation of bridge plans, technical specifications, technical reports, design calculation, and provisions of construing phase services.
- Project engineering and project management on bridge projects.
- Perform assessment and rehabilitation design of the existing bridge.
- Lead all aspects of the load rating of the existing bridge.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree in structural or civil engineering and a minimum of 12 years of experience since graduation in the design of bridges and tunnels, some of which would preferably have been gained in the Middle East.
- Registered, as a charter or professional structural engineer is preferred.
- Advance knowledge using AASHTO and MOMRA / Saudi MOT highway design standards. Additional EURO Code knowledge is a preference.
- Experienced in the use of structural software like CSI Bridge, Midas civil, and CADD software.
- The ability to effectively communicate ideas to other team members and an understanding of the architectural and building services requirements of projects and the coordination of these with the structural design are essential aspects of the position.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Familiarity with quality assurance/quality control procedures applicable to a design office.

The incumbent shall have a minimum of 8 years of experience in the design of structural engineering works, of which 3 years shall have included direct involvement and/or responsibilities for the design of significant projects covering a wide variety of buildings. Familiarity with U.S., European, and Saudi Arabian Standards and Codes is required for this position.
Job Specification- The incumbent shall serve as Structural Engineer under the direct supervision of the Head of Branch. In this capacity, shall work on the design and technical review of a wide variety of buildings and structures. As structural engineer, the incumbent shall be responsible for the structural design and technical review of projects from schematic through to concept and final design.
- The incumbent shall be thoroughly familiar with the latest trends and materials on the market and methods of construction, and shall give full consideration in the design and technical review to constructability and maintainability, as well as economy of construction.
- The incumbent shall be capable of preparing complete structural design calculations for reinforced concrete and structural steel structures, and prepare detailed drawings and technical specifications ready for construction including technical review of structural drawings done by others. The incumbent shall be readily familiar with the mathematics, engineering, and science related to structural and facility concepts and methods of analysis applicable to military and civil construction.

This role involves leading the design and analysis of structural systems for a variety of projects, with a particular focus on precast concrete applications. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the structural integrity, safety, and efficiency of our projects while adhering to industry standards and project timelines
Key Accountability Areas- Lead the structural design process for residential, commercial, and industrial projects, with a focus on precast concrete systems.
- Analyze and calculate loads, stresses, and material strengths to ensure compliance with relevant codes and regulations.
- Prepare detailed engineering designs, drawings, and specifications using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and structural analysis tools (e.g., STAAD.Pro, ETABS).
