Job Description

A Laundry Supervisor is responsible for managing overall daily operations of the Laundry Room to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience while ensuring quality controls and guest inquiries.
**What will I be doing?**
As a Laundry Supervisor, you are responsible for managing overall daily operations of the Laundry Room to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience. A Laundry Supervisor will also be required to ensure quality controls are in place and manage customer service inquiries. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
+ Manage overall daily operations of the Laundry Department
+ Ensure quality controls are in place for all laundry processes, rejecting any exceptions
+ Maintain cleanliness of the laundry area
+ Train, develop, and appraise the laundry team
+ Ensure linen and housekeeping supplies are ordered and controlled in line with Business and Events
+ Carry out stock takes
+ Ensure par stocks are maintained
+ Take receipt of stock and ensure safe storage
+ Manage customer service issues quickly and effectively
+ Oversee the issuing of linen via a requisition system
+ Ensure team members adhere to all Health and Safety Regulations
+ Carry out any other reasonable task set by the hotel's management

**Qualifications**
To execute the position of Laundry Supervisor, I must have the required qualifications, technical skills and experience in a similar role in luxury hotels with proven results and includes the following:
+ High school diploma or equivalent and at least 2 years' experience in a similar hotel operational setting. Hospitality diploma/degree from a recognized hospitality school is preferred.
+ Technical skills include advanced MS Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. I am also familiar with various hotel systems including POS and PMS platforms. I have good knowledge of laundry operations and linen handling.
+ Fluent in English.

Hotel: Riyadh - Al Takhassusi (RUHTA), TBD, Al-Takassusi Street

We’re looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team. As part of our IHG family, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our guests enjoy a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment. You’ll supervise housekeeping operations, lead and motivate your team, and maintain our high brand standards at all times.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise daily housekeeping operations, including guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces, to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards are met.

Assign daily duties and inspect completed work to ensure quality and consistency.

Train, coach, and support housekeeping colleagues to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Monitor inventory and request housekeeping supplies when needed.

Handle guest requests, inquiries, and complaints promptly and professionally.

Ensure compliance with IHG brand standards, health & safety regulations, and company policies.

Report maintenance issues and coordinate with the engineering team for timely repairs.

Support the Executive Housekeeper with scheduling, performance reviews, and administrative tasks.

Key Skills & Experience

Previous experience in a housekeeping supervisory role, preferably in a hotel or resort environment.

Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

High attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards.

Knowledge of cleaning procedures, materials, and equipment.

Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
