Responsibilities
- Conduct a qualified technical examination of the patient.
- Assess and diagnose speech disorders, language disorders, communication disorders, and swallowing disorders.
- Implement therapy sessions with patients with speech disorders, language disorders, communication disorders, and swallowing disorders.
- Provide guidance and training to parents, teachers, and other caregivers on techniques and practices they can use at home to enhance communication and improve language skills.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary medical team to provide comprehensive care to patients.
- Equip the clinic with the necessary equipment and standardized tests for evaluating and treating a variety of diagnoses and conditions.
- Participate in marketing and community education functions as required.
- Plan and implement educational activities during service to meet specific learning needs and implement performance improvement initiatives. Encourage participation in employee education activities and provide consultations to facility staff.
Requirements :
- a bachelor's degree in speech and language.
- a minimum of 3 years of experience as a speech and language therapist, preferably in a rehabilitation or healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge and practical experience in differential diagnosis and evidence-based treatment approaches.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively explain complex concepts to patients and colleagues.
- Proven ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on thorough assessments and patient goals.
- Strong manual therapy skills and proficiency in a variety of therapeutic modalities and techniques.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment, collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care.
- Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development and staying up to date with the latest research and advancements in the field.
- Valid professional license or registration as a speech and language expert in Saudi Arabia.

· Independently delivering training courses and carrying out the associated administration.
· Providing continuous assessment of students’ learning progress.
· Documenting work as necessary – attendance, progress reports, lesson plans, schemes of work, assessment plans.
· Preparing students for appropriate external English Language qualifications i.e. IELTS, APTIS.
· Developing learning materials to improve the required skills, and knowledge of grammar and vocabulary.
· Ensuring that all reports are completed and submitted to the SELT in a timely manner.
· The post holder will be expected to operate to a standard of absolute integrity and professionalism.
RECRUITMENT SPECIFICATION
Essential
· Degree qualified (or equivalent) in an appropriate subject (preferably English or modern languages).
· For SN instructors, either a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Education in English Language.
· Hold CELTA or equivalent, DELTA preferred.
· Have teaching experience in a company or language school, Middle East experience preferred.
· Proven capability in delivering English language training.
· A good team player with strong interpersonal and communications skills.
· Fluent in English (minimum IELTS 6.5 for a Saudi post holder, achieved within the last 2 years),
· Experience of delivering IELTS preparation courses / as an IELTS Examiner.
· Demonstrate high levels of cultural sensitivity.
Desirable
· Knowledge and experience of different EL methodologies and associated techniques.
· Experience in delivering Technical English training in a technical training institution.

Evaluates plans and performs Speech and hearing therapy treatments.
Writes evaluation assessment and maintain adequate treatment records and progress notes for review by medical staffs.
Carries own patient case load and responsible for all duties this entails.
Participates in departmental meeting, case conference and clinical in-service.
Prepares patients for discharge from the hospital by teaching those precautions, basic procedures and giving home instructions if necessary.
Communicates all pertinent changes in patients' condition to the Physicians and medical staff.
Promptly completes daily documentation of treatment.
Ensures good maintenance in the treatment area. Reports to Department Head any damage and out of order equipment.
Acts as an advisor in clinical problems discusses diagnosis and treatment plans with medical team.
Assists the attending Physician in determining appropriate speech therapy treatment; reviews and evaluates patient's records; schedules, performs and evaluates patient tests; recommends the most appropriate treatment for specific disabilities; submits a written treatment program to the Physician for concurrence.
Maintains complete records of the patients' original diagnosis, evaluation and treatment plan; records and evaluates patients' response and discusses progress with the Physician/Surgeon; recommends changes; advises when the patient is ready for discharge from the therapy room.
Demonstrates proper treatment procedures to ward personnel; instructs patients and families in procedures to be continued at home. As requested, plans and conducts lectures and training programs for medical staff, students and community groups; plans and participates in the speech and Hearing therapy research programs.
Keeps abreast of new techniques or equipments and recommends or implements them as applicable.
Complies with hospital dress code.
Performs other applicable tasks and duties assigned within the realm of the employee's knowledge, skills and abilities.
Patient and Family Education
Involves the patient/families in plan of care and respects patients/families regarding their goals and choices of patient care.
Provides health promotion and health teaching thru methods appropriate to a patients’ developmental level, learning needs, readiness and ability to learn, language preference, culture and situations.
Allots time necessary to assess, plan implement and evaluate patient education provided to patients/families with appropriate documentation.
Utilize the nursing process in creating and coordinating teaching plans for individualized patients.
Create patient care assignments as per competency regarding surgical procedures.
Education:
BS degree in Speech and language Therapy from an accredited institution, plus the required clinical internship for professional registration.
Holder of Professional license to practice.
Passed Saudi Council Registration exam.
Current CPR certification.
Experience :
The speech language and swallowing specialist with experience of at least 2 years for Inpatient and outpatient Rehabilitation program.
Skills:
Fluency in verbal and written English. Preferable also in Arabic
Knowledgeable of computer skills.
Ability to exhibits professionalism and excellent interpersonal communication skills.
Must be willing and able to work with multi-cultural and physical handicapped.

M2r Education is proud to partner with a highly respected British International School in Al Khor, Qatar, seeking an Arabic Foreign Language Teacher to start in the upcoming academic year.
The school, owned by one of the largest natural gas-producing companies globally, primarily caters to the children of its employees. It is located approximately 40 km north of Doha, in Al Khor, and hosts over 4,000 students across British and CBSE curricula.
They are looking for an enthusiastic, inspiring Arabic Teacher experienced in working with primary-aged students.
Requirements:- Bachelor's Degree in Arabic or a related subject + PGCE/QTS
- Ideally, a minimum of 2 years relevant experience (ECTs considered)
- Fluent in both Arabic and English
- Experience with English National Curriculum or British International School
- High cultural awareness and sensitivity
