5.Provides ongoing response/feedback to Hospital employee performance appraisal system. Trains, provides continuing education, and guides students and other healthcare personnel, including residents.
**Education**:
Bachelor’s or Associate Degree/Diploma in Medical Technology or related discipline is required.
**Experience Required**:
Grade 08:
Two (2) years of related experience with Bachelor’s or four (4) years of related experience with Associate Degree/Diploma is required.
Grade 09:
- Four (4) years as Medical Technologist at KFSH&RC.
- Average of annual performance appraisal at least (3.5) for the last four (4) years.
- Fifty (50) hours of cumulative continued medical education (CME).
**Other Requirements(Certificates)**:

- Perform the receiving inspection of items;
- Check the delivery note against the purchase order;
- Register non-conformities, complaints, and suggestions and correct them immediately;
- Draw up templates within their area of intervention;
- Draw up operating procedures within their area of intervention;
- Identify inappropriate equipment, RMMs, and supplies associated with the work area;
- Dispose of samples;
- Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of the work area.
Minimum Requirements
- Associate/Bachelor's degree in Genomics, Biomedical Sciences, Medical Laboratory Technology, or related fields;
- Previous experience working in a clinical laboratory setting;
- Strong knowledge of laboratory techniques and procedures;
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills;
- Ability to maintain accuracy and meet deadlines;
- Proficiency in using laboratory equipment and computer systems;
- Good communication and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies;
- Valid medical laboratory technician certification is preferred, but training will be provided.
