Ensures that the product quality satisfies client specifications by collecting samples and performing tests to determine the physical and chemical characteristics of raw materials, process materials, and finished products.

• Follow the rules and procedures for the activities of the Quality Control Department to ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Collection, preparation, and testing of samples for lime, dolomite, and other raw materials in accordance with product specifications.
• Prepare and verify/standardize chemical reagents and standard solutions necessary for analyses.
• Providing laboratory equipment management and some user-level maintenance.
• Monitors and calibrates / verifies laboratory equipment and report any abnormalities or irregularities.
• Conduct periodic inventory of chemicals, instrument parts, supplies and other consumables.
• Closely coordinates with production and logistics for the incoming raw materials, online production, and finished product sample for quality testing.
• Records daily quality results.
• Compiles data to generate reports.
• Ensures compliance to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO/IEC 17025 requirements.

The Laboratory Technician oversees all operations in the labs, workshops, and studios, including conducting research, supervising students, assisting with lab experiments, and ensuring lab safety protocols are followed. The role involves managing and maintaining additive and subtractive manufacturing systems, such as robotic arms, CNC machines, 3D multijet printers, and laser cutting technologies. The technician also familiarizes new staff with safety equipment locations, supports research and innovation projects, assists researchers and students in prototyping, and ensures compliance with safety protocols. The Mathematics and Sciences Department (MSD) at the College of Humanities and Sciences (CHS) is seeking a motivated and dedicated male candidate to join our faculty as a Chemistry Lab Instructor/Technician for the upcoming 1st semester of the academic year 2025/2026. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in chemistry and a passion for teaching and mentoring students in a laboratory environment.

Applicants are expected to meet the following requirements:

• Male candidates only.
• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in chemistry or related field, having earned the degrees from an accredited university and on-site as a full-time student.
• Excellent proficiency with the English language (all teaching/advising will be in English).
• Strong knowledge of laboratory safety procedures and regulations.
• Experience in maintaining laboratory instruments.
• Previous teaching experience in a laboratory setting is desirable.

Key responsibilities for this role include:
