We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Lab Manager to oversee all laboratory operations within our poultry production company. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and compliance of all labs testing activities related to poultry health, food quality, safety, and environmental monitoring. The role is critical to maintaining biosecurity, regulatory compliance, and product quality standards in line with Saudi Arabian and international regulations.
Responsibilities- Supervise daily laboratory operations including microbiological, chemical, and serological testing related to poultry health, feed, water, and product samples.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs), quality control measures, and lab safety protocols.
- Manage laboratory staff: hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluation.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of test results to relevant departments (production, QA, veterinary, etc.).
- Monitor and maintain lab equipment calibration, servicing, and documentation.
- Conduct routine audits to ensure compliance with SFDA, SASO, and other regulatory requirements.
- Liaise with veterinary teams to support disease diagnosis, vaccination efficacy testing, and flock health monitoring.
- Support R&D and quality improvement initiatives related to poultry feed formulation, hygiene, and productivity.
- Manage the procurement and inventory of laboratory supplies and reagents.
- Prepare monthly reports, KPIs, and participate in cross-departmental meetings.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in microbiology, Veterinary Science, Animal Science, Food Science, Biology, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a laboratory setting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Previous experience in the poultry or livestock sector is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 17025, HACCP, GMP, and local Saudi regulations.
- Fluent in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
- Proficient in using laboratory information management systems (LIMS) and Microsoft Office.

The Laboratory Technician oversees all operations in the labs, workshops, and studios, including conducting research, supervising students, assisting with lab experiments, and ensuring lab safety protocols are followed. The role involves managing and maintaining additive and subtractive manufacturing systems, such as robotic arms, CNC machines, 3D multijet printers, and laser cutting technologies. 10. Oversees staffing schedules and ensures that all sections have 24/7 adequate coverage for the provision of service.
11. Evaluates equipment requests and makes recommendations to the Director/Chairman regarding purchase, upgrades and replacements. Ensures all equipment is operating properly, is regularly maintained and repaired.
12. Oversees the overall quality of services provided in the Invasive Cardiology Lab.
