You will focus on creating best-in-class content, delivering excellent guest experiences and building local relationships in order to grow awareness, consideration, conversion, loyalty and advocacy of the brand.
This is a dynamic and diverse role covering aspects of marketing, community outreach and events management. This entry-level role would suit an enthusiastic, flexible and confident individual with a passion for food, people and social media.

Key Roles and Responsibilities as a Marketing and Sales Executive:
Marketing
· Assist with the planning, delivery and execution of the marketing strategy for the Gordon Ramsay Academy as we aim to launch the new business, grow our audience and foster loyalty and engagement in the long term
· Support the Content Manager and wider Marketing team in planning, creating, uploading and managing content and communications across owned, earned and paid channels
· Key channels will include Website/Online, Email, PPC, Print/Collateral and Third Parties
· Draft and upload copy and content to individual channels as required, identifying channel-specific needs and adapting tone and style to suit
· Focus on promoting new classes, campaigns, key dates, vouchers/gifting and seasonal activity
· Assist with cross-promotion of wider initiatives within the Gordon Ramsay Restaurant group
· To be an internal champion for the Academy when it comes to communicating with and engaging the wider team and restaurant group
· Additional reporting and insights into performance and work on optimising outputs across all channels
Social media
· Manage the day-to-day running of the Gordon Ramsay Academy social channels
· Create best-in-class content (photography, video, copy and interactive content) that engages and inspires our community
· Responsible for maintaining the social channel schedule (from planning through to creation, scheduling, posting and reporting) in line with brand guidelines and to agreed timelines
· To work with the Content Manager and Gordon Ramsay Restaurants Social Media Team to create best practise channel plans in line with wider business priorities
· To be reactive, adaptable and forward-thinking when it comes to creating high quality, shareable digital content, keeping up to date with new trends, innovations and user behaviours
· Manage a UGC programme which maximizes content from our community
· Help create and deliver an effective influencer strategy to grow reach and engagement beyond our own channels
· Manage the asset library ensuring efficient filing and tagging, and that assets are utilized and maximized across the channel mix
· Take ownership for reporting on channel and asset performance plus providing insights and recommendations that will keep the brand one step ahead of our competitors and grow our reputation within the 'foodie' community
Events management
· Assist in the management and co-ordination of events at the Gordon Ramsay Academy, including group bookings, parties, corporate activities and bespoke guest requests
· Host client show-rounds and showcases to promote the event spaces and capabilities of the Academy
· Co-ordinate event bookings from enquiry through planning and delivery to post-event reporting
· Ensure enquiries are responded to in a timely manner and then manage the resulting event schedule
· To work with both the client and Academy team to develop detailed and accurate event proposals that can be effectively delivered as per the client's requirements
· Create events sheets to ensure all requests are in place from special menu requirements, drinks, and equipment
· Maintain events records and assist with sales reporting and insights
· Assist with the hosting and running of certain events as required
· Develop guest relations pre- and post-event to build loyalty and retention
Community outreach
· Help to develop a 'one-mile radius' outreach and engagement plan that will foster relationships and opportunities within the local community
· To be the key point of contact and represent the Academy in building partnerships that will benefit business KPIs and grow awareness of the brand
· Work with internal teams to actively explore new business, charity and community opportunities and develop effective proposals
· Create written copy and visual assets that adhere to brand guidelines as required to promote initiatives
· Liaise with third parties to coordinate activity and ensure the Gordon Ramsay brand is represented accurately
· Report on performance of campaigns and work with internal and external teams to improve, innovate and move forwards
What we require from you:
· Strong writing skills, good grammar, punctuation and spelling
· Experience using a variety of digital systems (e.g. CMS, email management, Google Analytics) preferred
· Confident using photo and video equipment and editing software (iPhone and DSLR cameras, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, After Effects and animation Premier Pro or Final Cut is beneficial but not necessary)
· Social media experience both professionally and personally is a distinct advantage
· Previous marketing, events or hospitality experience also a benefit
