**JOB PURPOSE**
BAE Systems is the UK Government’s nominated Prime Contractor under the Government-to-Government arrangements that are in place to provide equipment, support and training to Saudi Arabia. We provide maintenance of Royal Saudi Air Force aircraft and train RSAF personnel safely in a training environment in how to use their aircraft, equipment and weapons.

**JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES**
The Support Technician is responsible to the AGF Flight Commander/Advisor for the
Efficient and effective management of resources including training of assigned RSAF
Personnel. He is also responsible to the Advisor to the MSC for best practice and a duty of care of BAE personnel assigned to his department.
The specific duties of the Support Technician include, but are not limited to:
- Carry Out all Support functions including Material Control, Tool Crib, Library, Aircraft None Powered Servicing Equipment (NPSE) and 780 Equipment Section.
- Assist the Production Superintendent requests for Support Equipment.
- Remove Unserviceable equipment for repair or calibration as required.
- Maintain all NPSE by carrying out daily inspections and repairs as required.
- Support the AGF Flying and Maintenance requirements.
- Compile reports on aircraft equipment as required by the AGF Flt Commander/Advisor.
- Act as a counterpart trainer, when required for any assigned RSAF personnel.
**RECRUITMENT SPECIFICATION**
- Will be a graduate of a military school or Equivalent.
- Will have a minimum of five years’ experience on Tornado aircraft.
- Will have a minimum of two years in-kingdom supervisory experience with BAE Systems.
- Must have a thorough knowledge of RSAF procedures, directives and manuals.
- Must be computer literate and have a sound knowledge of the Microsoft office suite.
- Must be conversant with Miro Gold procedures.
- Must have a comprehensive working knowledge of company HR and SHE policies and
Procedures.
Must possess a current driving license.

- Works within the maintenance quality control processes, procedures, and standards.

**SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS**:

- Escalate unresolved issues when necessary
- Assist in the Installation and configuration of IT systems
Required Qualifications:
- 1 – 2 years of relevant IT support / help desk experience
- Good understanding of basic networking and troubleshooting techniques
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a project environment
- Great organizational & Time management
Education/ Certification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / IT / Computer Science / or any relative field
