We are seeking a skilled and motivated Network Administrator to manage and maintain our organization's computer networks. You will be responsible for installing, configuring, and supporting both the hardware and software of our local and wide area networks (LANs and WANs), internet and intranet systems, network segments, and other data communication systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and support network hardware and software.
- Maintain LAN, WAN, VPN, firewall, and internet systems.
- Monitor network performance to determine if adjustments are needed.
- Ensure network security through firewalls, antivirus, and access control systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot network problems and outages.
- Administer network services such as DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, etc.

Qualifications:
Education & Experience:

Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of network infrastructure and network hardware.
- Experience with Cisco, Juniper, or similar network devices.
- Proficiency in network diagnostic and monitoring tools (e.g., Wireshark, SolarWinds).
- Knowledge of protocols such as TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, SNMP, and others.
- Experience with firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and endpoint security.
- Familiarity with Windows Server, Linux, and cloud networking (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.

The Network Architect/Administrator is responsible for supporting USG architecture planning for a CENTCOM Partner Network (CPN) technical refresh and expansion; procurement, installation, and configuration of CPN client hardware/software; procurement of CPN software licenses; installation and configuration of CPN related networks with associated communication security devices (COMSEC). The role includes operations support, maintenance, system administration, sustainment, and training for CPN, Agile Client, and related networked sites.
Required Qualifications:
• Six (6) years of experience in technical specifications development, process analysis and design, technical problem solving, and analytical/logical thinking.
• At least three (3) years of experience with the CENTCOM Partner Network and CENTRIX.
• Three (3) years of experience as a system manager/integrator in LAN, WAN, and IP-services leveraging COTS technologies.
• Experience with enterprise WAN/LAN infrastructures in military shore facilities, including Command & Control centers.
• Knowledge of information sharing tools like email, Web services, chat, and VoIP.
• BS degree in Engineering, Physical Sciences, or Mathematics (or equivalent experience/certifications).
