Job Description

SWATX is seeking a skilled and dedicated System Administrator to join our dynamic IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, configuring, and ensuring the optimal performance of our IT infrastructure. You will play a critical part in managing the organization's servers, networks, and applications, ensuring that all systems are secure, efficient, and reliable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and maintain servers, networks, and systems, ensuring high availability and performance
  • Implement and manage security protocols to safeguard the integrity of IT systems and data
  • Conduct regular system monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting to resolve issues proactively
  • Manage backups, disaster recovery procedures, and ensure effective data recovery processes
  • Install, configure, and update software and applications as needed
  • Create and maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and processes
  • Provide technical support and guidance to end-users, helping them utilize IT resources effectively
  • Collaborate with IT teams on projects and initiatives to improve IT services and infrastructure

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience as a System Administrator or in a similar role
  • In-depth knowledge of server management, network configuration, and systems administration
  • Familiarity with virtualization technologies, cloud services, and database management
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with various teams
  • Certifications such as CompTIA Server+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, or related certifications are a plus
