Our Solutions Architects team is seeking candidates to join our AWS team with a variety of skills to help shape and deliver on our cloud strategy for our customers and partners in Argentina. As a solutions architect, you will be on the front line of helping customers succeed using AWS technologies, linking technology with measurable business value for organizations ranging from start-ups to large, enterprise customers. You will be a trusted customer advocate, helping our partners understand advanced cloud-based solutions and how to migrate existing workloads to the cloud.
Key job responsibilities
As a Solutions Architect, you will work customers to accelerate their projects and recommend best-practice architectures in line with their long-term business outcomes.
You will own the technical relationship with the customers and operate as their trusted advisor. The best interests of the customer will shape the guidance you provide.
Share the voice of the customer to influence the roadmap of new features and services for the AWS platform.
Create and capture best practices, technical content and new reference architectures (e.g. white papers, code samples, blog posts).
Evangelize and educate about AWS technology (e.g. workshops, user groups, meetups, public speaking, online videos or conferences).
Contribute to the growth of the Solutions Architecture organization by hiring, coaching and mentoring others.
Develop areas of depth in technical domains relevant to your interests and your customer's outcomes.
A day in the life
A Solutions Architect day goes from enabling our customers via predefined hands-on trainings (gamedays, immersion days, etc), to discussing how technology will reshape the future of an industry at the highest levels in our customers. We investigate, we keep up with the rapid changes of technology, assess customers based on their best interests and ensure solutions are well-architected. If we need more expertise, we count on our global experts and bring them in to clarify an architecture. If a customer needs a specific feature in of our services, we advocate for them with our service teams. You will choose a specialty road, and will connect with one of our Technical communities to expand and give back knowledge.

- KSA or UAE resident
- Four-year Degree in a technical field, ideally Computer Science or IT is preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in IT, technical presales, technical consultancy, development or technical support activities.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in cyber security, in one or more of these areas: DLP, Data Classification, or other relevant Data Governance solutions.
- Excellent oral presentation skills, public relations skills, and the ability to educate and train in a technical environment.
- Arabic language (native) and very good English are required. Any other language is a plus.
- Willingness to travel occasionally.
WHAT SETS YOU APART:
- Previous experience in presales activities for a DLP vendor.
- Hands-on experience with related cybersecurity technologies including DLP, CASB, Email Gateways, Document Management, DRM/Encryption, EDR solutions.
- Security, technical or other certifications like CISSP are considered an advantage

- Deliver technical presentations and response to technical questions during sales calls.
Industry Events:
- Represent the Company at Trade Shows, User Group events, Conferences, and Virtual events.
- Provide presentations at events where applicable.
Product / Technical Marketing:
- Participate in online webinars on specific topics.
- Assist in the outbound launch of new products and releases activities.
- Serve as the market expert of our products, from how customers use them, how the competition positions against them to how we sell and service them in the field.
As Solutions Engineer you are expected to:
- Work under low supervision
- Know most of Fortra’s solution portfolio.
- Be a technical expert on the product(s) you work with
- Keep learning the sales processes, market knowledge, and developing your soft skills.
QUALIFICATIONS
- KSA or UAE resident
- Four-year Degree in a technical field, ideally Computer Science or IT is preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in IT, technical presales, technical consultancy, development or technical support activities.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in cyber security, in one or more of these areas: DLP, Data Classification, or other relevant Data Governance solutions.
- Excellent oral presentation skills, public relations skills, and the ability to educate and train in a technical environment.
- Arabic language (native) and very good English are required. Any other language is a plus.
- Willingness to travel occasionally.
WHAT SETS YOU APART:
- Previous experience in presales activities for a DLP vendor.
- Hands-on experience with related cybersecurity technologies including DLP, CASB, Email Gateways, Document Management, DRM/Encryption, EDR solutions.
- Security, technical or other certifications like CISSP are considered an advantage
- Experience working in IT / security projects in large organizations.

About the opportunity:
We require a highly motivated IT Solutions Architect with at least ten years of experience in Enterprise level IT environments. Responsible for designing and implementing complex technology systems that meet the specific needs of a project delivering Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C5I) technologies project. Working closely with project stakeholders to understand objectives and challenges, then advise on technical solutions that align with the MNG’s goals. This role involves evaluating existing IT infrastructure, selecting appropriate technologies, and ensuring that the systems are scalable, secure, and cost-effective. - Identify, communicate and manage Information Assurance risks.

- Lead the technical and product sales efforts, recommending best-practice solutions and guiding clients on how to effectively use Lean’s APIs.
- Establish yourself as a trusted advisor by understanding client technical challenges through discovery processes and designing innovative solutions that address business needs.
- Ensure an exceptional client experience throughout the project lifecycle, focusing on understanding and addressing client needs.
- Maximize clients' use of Lean’s offerings to achieve their business goals.
- Take initiative to identify and resolve issues, both for clients and internally, contributing to organizational growth.
- Be hands-on, energetic, and passionate, demonstrating creative problem-solving skills and the ability to lead others to success.
- Act as the voice of our clients to the product team, providing feedback on early products to ensure they meet client needs and expectations.
- High level of curiosity and a willingness to learn, coupled with a strong work ethic.
- Proficiency in Arabic to effectively communicate with our clients in the region and understand their needs comprehensively.
- 2-3 years of experience in roles such as solutions engineer, pre-sales engineer, or solutions architect.
- Strong client-facing skills, capable of presenting and advocating for Lean’s products effectively.
- Experience working with API companies, with proficiency in calling APIs and debugging high level technical errors.
- Strong writing skills for effective documentation and communication.

- Excellent organizational skills and ability to build relationships with internal teams and client stakeholders.
