Working at the Site to support project execution. The incumbent will interact with the Site team and the Project Management team to execute their duties.

The incumbent is responsible for onboarding and managing Contractor organizations working inside the JIGCC area.

The incumbent should have good knowledge of EH&S throughout all phases of construction and commissioning.

This position is accountable for the following:

• Review and comment on Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) for all work activities in JIGCC to ensure accuracy and validity.
• Support the full implementation of the JIGPC EH&S documentation.
• Work closely with the Project Management team to evaluate Contractors and ensure proper onboarding.
• Support the implementation of the Project Emergency Response Plan within the area of responsibility.
• Ensure EH&S risks are assessed and mitigation measures are in place.
• Assist the project team in identifying safety concerns.
• Coordinate with Contractors to ensure HAZID and safety reviews are completed timely.
• Establish a program of inspections and audits in the area of responsibility.
• Lead incident investigations and complete incident reports.
• Ensure safety equipment is regularly inspected, operational, and properly color-coded.
• Support the implementation of a robust Control of Work program.
• Monitor adherence to the LOTO work process, ensuring it is adequate and correctly installed.
• Ensure all permits are properly completed and implemented on site.
• Review and monitor Contractors' safety programs and practices.
• Provide EH&S expertise to the site team to ensure compliance with standards and laws.
• Demonstrate strong leadership throughout all project phases.
• Coordinate safety training for Contractors as required.
• Participate in safety promotion events and campaigns.
• Lead the prompt prioritization and resolution of unforeseen issues at the site, escalating as necessary.
• Implement a robust incentive and disciplinary policy to promote safety performance.
• Assist in the accurate completion of EH&S reports.
• Ensure BSP is fully implemented in their work area.

• NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent (mandatory).
• Engineering or Science degree.
• Safety certificates in OSHA and IOSH (or equivalent).
• 10 years’ experience on international mega-projects as an EH&S Lead.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
• Knowledge of Construction Safety, with expertise in areas like Excavations, Scaffolding, Lifting, etc.
• Good team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physically fit to spend significant time on site.
• Ability to work in a multinational organizational matrix.
• Willing to travel and work in remote locations.

• Experience with industrial gas projects.
• Experience with EPC management.
• Arabic language skills.

JIGPC PD Project EH&S Data Analyst

. POSITION SUMMARY

Working from the Project Office, to support the Project Execution team. The incumbent will interact with

the Site team to collate EH&S data for analysis.

The incumbent is responsible for establishing databases that provide an opportunity to track all EH&S

incident data at the Project.

The incumbent is expected to have good knowledge of EH&S throughout all phases of construction and

commissioning.

III. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

This position is accountable for the following:

1. Collect and manage EHS data from various sources including incident reports, safety inspections,

compliance audits, Observation register.

2. Analyse EHS data to identify trends, patterns, and areas of concern.

3. Support the development and implementation of safety campaigns.

4. Track the close-out of actions through Aman.

5. Participate in RCA’s when requested.

6. Generate regular reports (Monthly, Quarterly / Annual) on EHS performance, including incident

rates, compliance levels, and progress towards EHS goals.

7. Work closely with other EHS staff to ensure accurate data collection and reporting.

8. Utilize data analysis tools and software to effectively manage and analyze EHS data.

9. Assist in the development of EHS policies and procedures based on data analysis.

10. Support EHS audits and inspections by providing necessary data and analysis.

11. Train other staff and contractor on data collection and reporting procedures as necessary.

12. Stay current on local, national, and international EHS regulations to ensure accurate reporting.

13. Participate in EHS meetings and present data analysis findings.

14. Be familiar with all BSP tools and use them.

15. Attend EH&S meeting’s and prepare MoM.

16. Support the Contractor in monitoring their Action Tracking Registers.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Business or Environmental Science, Data Science, Occupational Safety, or

related field.

4. Knowledge of EHS regulations and standards.

5. Proficiency in data analysis software and tools such as SAP-EM, Qliksense, MS-Forms and Excel.

6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

7. Strong communication and presentation skills.

8. Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.

9. Ability to work in a team and collaborate with different stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications / Skills:

1. Prior experience in an EH&S role.
