Advanced Smelting Industries Co. (ASIC) is a joint venture equally owned by Tasnee. The smelter is located in the Primary and Downstream Industries Zone of Jazan City for Primary and Downstream Industries (JCPDI), and is designed to smelt ilmenite, a titanium-rich mineral sand, into titanium dioxide slag and pig iron. The plant consists of two electric arc furnaces, each with an annual capacity of 250,000 Tennes of slag and 125,000 Tennes of pig iron. The slag is tapped from the furnace and further processed to serve as feedstock for the titanium chlorination and sulphuric used in the production of titanium pigment, which is primarily utilized in paints and plastics.

To work the Project Controller Engineer is responsible for monitoring and controlling project budgets, schedules, and risks, ensuring successful project delivery. This position exists to support the Project Development Department by providing accurate financial and scheduling oversight.

Position summary

Working from the Project Office, to support the Project Execution team. The incumbent will interact with the Site team to collate EHS data for analysis. The incumbent is responsible for establishing databases that provide an opportunity to track all EHS incident data at the Project. The incumbent is expected to have good knowledge of EHS throughout all phases of construction and commissioning.

Principal Accountabilities
  • Collect and manage EHS data from various sources including incident reports, safety inspections, compliance audits, Observation register.
  • Analyze EHS data to identify trends, patterns, and areas of concern.
  • Support the development and implementation of safety campaigns.
  • Track the close-out of actions through Aman.
  • Participate in RCAs when requested.
  • Generate regular reports (Monthly, Quarterly / Annual) on EHS performance, including incident rates, compliance levels, and progress towards EHS goals.
  • Work closely with other EHS staff to ensure accurate data collection and reporting.
  • Utilize data analysis tools and software to effectively manage and analyze EHS data.
  • Assist in the development of EHS policies and procedures based on data analysis.
  • Support EHS audits and inspections by providing necessary data and analysis.
  • Train other staff and contractor on data collection and reporting procedures as necessary.
  • Stay current on local, national, and international EHS regulations to ensure accurate reporting.
  • Participate in EHS meetings and present data analysis findings.
  • Be familiar with all BSP tools and use them.
  • Attend EHS meetings and prepare MoM.
  • Support the Contractor in monitoring their Action Tracking Registers.
  • Support training and awareness campaigns.
  • Update on the information on the EHS board.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Environmental Science, Data Science, Occupational Safety, or related field.
  • English language capability – reading and writing (reading, writing, & speaking).
  • Proven experience in data analysis and reporting.
  • Knowledge of EHS regulations and standards.
  • Proficiency in data analysis software and tools such as SAP-EM, Qliksense, MS-Forms and Excel.

As a Senior Frontend Engineer , you will:

  • Technical Expertise: Advanced JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, ReactJS, Redux, React Query, MUI. Strong grasp of frontend architecture, state management, component-driven design. Experience with A/B testing, feature flags, analytics instrumentation. Familiarity with real-time apps (WebSockets, Kafka/RabbitMQ) and secure APIs.
