Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidate shall be responsible for setting a plan to manage a large technical security C4I project. To achieve this goal, the candidate is expected to carry out the following activities:
- Implement project management processes, procedures, tools, and the skill level of the resources, compare them against industry standards, identify the gaps, and brief the senior management on the findings.
- Develop a plan to streamline the project management processes and procedures, enhance the project management tools, and improve the skill level of the project management personnel.
- Control the project using Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), Earned Value Management, and Project Control Methods that incorporate tracking by use of Microsoft Projects or Primavera.
- Present the plans to the senior management and get approval to proceed.
- Implement the approved plan using a team of project resources; such a team or multiple sub-teams are expected to be part of the plan. The candidate shall act as the Project Manager for implementing the plan. At a minimum the team/sub-teams are expected to carry out the following activities:
- Streamline project management processes and procedures ensuring appropriate participation of all stakeholders; recommend organization restructuring if necessary.
- Ensure appropriate Project Management tools are available or recommend procurement of appropriate tools if the current tools are not adequate.
- Develop a detailed plan to enhance project management skills of the project management personnel. The plan shall primarily consist of training for the assigned personnel. The training may include in-house training, outside (in-Kingdom or abroad) training including Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from Project Management Institute (PMI).
- Brief senior management on successful completion of the plan.
- Develop a mechanism to evaluate and assist the Project Management Personnel to solidify their skills. The candidate shall evaluate/assist in the following activities, which are to be carried out by the Project Management Personnel - this is not an exhaustive list:
- Review of Statement of Work from Project management perspective with focus on impact analysis, acceptance criteria, etc.
- Review and approval of the project plan submitted by vendor/contractor with particular emphasis on dependencies and risk analysis.
- Monitoring the progress against the project plan, identifying the potential and actual issues and risks, and taking corrective action.
- Ensuring the vendor meets the acceptance criteria and achieving stakeholder acceptance of the product.
- Holding regular meetings with the vendor/contractor, keeping the management up to date on the project progress, and ensuring all stakeholders are properly engaged at an appropriate level.
- Generating/maintaining project management related documentation.
Qualifications
The candidate shall have a minimum of Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Electrical, Electronics, Communications, or Computer Engineering, or Computer Science. He must be a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) from Project Management Institute (PMI) or equivalent. He must be proficient in the use of desktop applications in general and in MS Project or other Project Management Tools in particular. He must have excellent writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Experience
1. The candidate shall have a minimum of fifteen (15) years of experience as Project Manager/Program Manager in deploying C4I Systems, Security Operations Centers, Telecom Networks, and major IT systems/applications.
2. The candidate shall have experience in developing and maintaining detailed project plans or reviewing and approving the project plans submitted by vendor/contractor.
3. The candidate must have experience in managing multiple projects. The experience must include coordination, scheduling, assigning, follow up, and monitoring project activities.
4. The candidate must have experience in project management methodologies in general and PMI Project Management Methodology in particular.
5. The experience must include developing training course materials, conducting On-the-Job Training (OJT), and imparting formal and informal training.
6. The candidate must have experience in developing project management reports for the management or the project sponsor.
7. The candidate shall have experience in managing project deliverables in line with the project plan, recording and managing project issues, and escalating the issues where necessary.
8. Experience in developing and implementing a plan to enhance Project Management capability of an organization is highly desirable.
9. Military background or Security experience is a plus.

8. Monitors the preventive maintenance and landscaping schedules in coordination with the concerned technical department.
9. Monitors all the warranties regarding the building and furniture, and coordinates the repair or replacement of furniture.
10. Approves all the gate pass in coordination with Safety & Security - JB.
11. Assists in the facilitation and coordination of services provided to the Mega Projects Management assigned staff when necessary, including safe and efficient transportation through the mega projects program.

**Education**:
Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Projects Management or any other related discipline is required.
**Experience Required**:
Eleven(11) years with Master or thirteen (13) years with Bachelor Degree of a progressive and senior professional related experience in a large hospital, healthcare institution, government institution, business corporation or related organization is required including five (5) years in a managerial capacity.
**Other Requirements(Certificates)**:

- Industry experience across either data center, networking engineering, systems engineering or construction management Understanding of critical environments, and large capital projects and technologies (Electrical, Mechanical, Construction, Structural etc.)
- Experience in management of complex technology infrastructure projects.
- Experience of data center design, construction and fit out projects.
- Experience with and understanding of multiple project management methodologies, PMP/ Prince2 certification a plus.
Amazon are seeking a Technical Infrastructure Program Manager (TIPM) to support our European Data Center infrastructure growth initiatives. Based in our Dublin or London corporate & Data Center offices, the TIPM will lead cross functional teams to drive the implementation and deployment of data center expansion projects to meet the demands of our rapidly growing business.
Our Technical Program Managers are strong communicators both written and verbally and lead multi-discipline, highly technical physical infrastructure project teams. They lead teams of internal and external stakeholders through all stages of the Data Center development lifecycle from initial site due diligence through Construction and into Operation. The core role of the TIPM is to deliver capacity for our customers through developing delivery programs and working closely with stakeholder teams to identify risks and resolve issues to ensure those programs are delivered on time and within budget.
The TIPM partners with various stakeholder teams during data center delivery; Real Estate to support the feasibility and selection of new sites; Energy to ensure suitable grid connection is available; Design Engineering to coordinate project specific inputs, constraints and risks into designs; Procurement to secure on time delivery of critical equipment; Construction Management to track budget & progress; and Operations to complete the project with successful handover, to name but a few.

Key job responsibilities
In this role you will;
- Take large, complex projects and break them down into manageable pieces,
- Clearly communicate goals, roles, responsibilities, and desired outcomes to internal cross-functional and remote teams.
- Up to 25% travel is envisaged within EMEA. (Delivery TIPMs only)
- Be responsible for end-to-end program delivery from pre-contract design up to final handover to Operations of Colo, Hybrid Colo & AWS Leased/Owned Data Centers in the EMEA region.
- Manage interface between internal (Real Estate, Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Infrastructure Deployment, Networking, Operations, Security, Fiber, Finance etc.) and external stakeholders (Contractors, Colo Vendors) to ensure on time and on budget delivery of Data Center projects.
- Build and maintaining overall delivery program and project budget, submitting Capital Allocation Requests to Senior leadership to secure finance for project delivery.
- Work with Capacity Planning, Energy and Real Estate teams to develop short & long term build strategies to meet forecast demand.
- Support continuous process improvement through leading workflow updates, documenting & implementing lessons learned and sharing knowledge across delivery teams to ensure EMEA wide efficiency improvements.
- Regularly report to senior leadership on status of key project metrics vs. commitment of your projects.

**About:** **Ru'aa Program** is Microsoft's program tailored for **Saudi Nationals** , aiming to accelerate Saudi employability and create market impact through early in career recruitment, and skilling programs.
**Program overview:** Microsoft Ru'aa Internship is a paid six-month training program that offers globally recognized technical and professional certifications & skills, and on-the-job training to include mentoring, coaching, job shadowing and real-life scenario assignments.
**Program Details: The 6 months, full-time** program is divided into two key phases (Phase 1 - Onboarding & Skilling, Phase 2 - On The Job Training)
**Phase one** : _Onboarding & Skilling Bootcamp (1 month)_
+ Onboarding and introduction to Microsoft's mission, culture, strategy & structure.
+ Technical skilling to obtain globally recognized Microsoft technical certifications.
+ Professional and soft skilling courses including project management, change management, effective interpersonal skills, creativity and innovation, and time management.
**Phase two:** _On-the-job training (5 months)_
+ Joining as a **CSAM Intern** for on-the-job shadowing and training.

**Responsibilities:**
+ Seeks information about the customer through research (e.g., reads customer publications, speaks with peers and customers) to learn about their business, needs, and strategy and keeps up to date with customer business and business outcomes. Communicates customer insights to internal teams.
+ Communicates business value of solutions for customer organization through demonstrations, storytelling, etc. Observes and listens to senior colleagues to build knowledge of relevant customer stories and industry, competitive, and/or Microsoft best practices to support business outcomes.

**Minimum Qualifications**
+ Currently pursuing/ completed a Bachelor's/ Master's Degree in Information Technology (IT), Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field (OR must be recent graduates or recently graduated).
+ Saudi nationality.
+ Legally authorized to work in Saudi Arabia (Legally authorized = Has citizenship or has been granted a valid visa or work permit).
+ Fluency in English.
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Passion for technology and customer obsessed.
+ Displays stakeholder and relationship management.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication, analytical and presentation skills.
+ Technical Certification (e.g., cloud technology- Azure) are preferred but not required.
