  10. Take messages for guests and management as per the required standard.
  11. Ensure all external and internal calls are answered as laid out in the procedure and ensure efficient connection with the correct person.
  12. Be aware at all times of the whereabouts of the managers and where to contact them.
  13. Monitor the logs of long-distance calls, faxes, and messages.
  14. Coordinate communication within the hotel in the event of an emergency.

  • Guest Interaction: Assisting guests with special requests, such as room preferences, early check-ins, and late check-outs
  • Handling guest complaints and resolving issues related to reservations promptly and professionally
  • Informing guests about special offers, packages, and promotions to enhance their stay
  • Upselling additional services, such as spa treatments, dining options, and event tickets
  • Coordination with Other Departments: Communicating with the front desk, housekeeping, and other departments to ensure that guest requests and special arrangements are met
  • Coordinating with the sales and marketing team about group bookings and special promotions
  • Administrative Tasks: Maintaining accurate records of all reservations and guest information
  • Preparing reports on reservation statistics, occupancy rates, and revenue
  • Ensuring Quality and Compliance: Ensuring that all reservations handling and processes comply with hotel policies and standards
  • Reviewing and implementing new reservations procedures to improve efficiency
Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong Communication Skills: Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with guests, staff, and other departments
  • Organizational Skills: Managing multiple tasks and maintaining detailed records efficiently
  • Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy in reservations and guest information
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Addressing and resolving issues promptly and effectively
  • What we need from you
  • Ideally, you'll have some or all of the following competencies and experience we're looking for:
  • Bachelor’s degree, higher education qualification or equivalent in Hotel Administration / Business Administration
  • Two to Three years’ prior tenure in a similar role
  • International luxury hotel chain background
  • English Fluency is required
  • Arabic Fluency is preferred
