Position Objectives:

An Inventory Specialist will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate inventory records to ensure full and correct asset registration. Furthermore, he/she will be responsible for coordinating with various departments to forecast inventory needs and have it passed to the suppliers and ensure the delivery schedule is according to the plan of the project.

Job Description & Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with the Project Managers to determine Project Requirements.
• Coordinate with the listed Suppliers to ensure stock availability.
• Create and manage a live, updated tracking report to monitor all requested suppliers and status.
• Prepare and update ‘Materials Requirements Planning’ tool and ensure high data integrity and accuracy to support accurate planning and procurement.
• Prepare and issue required Work Orders between the Finance Control Team and Suppliers, and ensure full necessary documentation is secured.
• Follow up closely with Suppliers and Project Managers to ensure the supply of material on time and per the plan.
• Conduct regular visits to suppliers' warehouses to validate the availability of material and stocks.
• Compare physical inventory against system records and trigger corrective actions when needed, aligning with best practices in inventory audits.
• Work with finance teams to reconcile invoices with deliveries and project budgets.
• Maintain and reconcile cost tracking spreadsheets, ensuring alignment with financial controls.

Qualifications & Experience:

• BSc in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or Equivalent.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in the field of Asset Management & Inventory Planning.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Effective coordination abilities.
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks under pressure.
• Proficient in using MS applications.
• The English Language is mandatory to know, both speaking and writing.
