You will be entitled to respond and resolve unexpected machines technical issue by covering and supporting the 24/7 production operation schedule. Also, you will be responsible for reducing repair service charge cost from OEM and minimizing the hours production lost.

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for:


  • Empowering the preventive maintenance as schedule based on machine maintenance manual.
  • Responding and resolve unexpected machines technical issue by covering and supporting the 24/7 production operation schedule.
  • Reducing repair service charge cost from OEM and minimizing the hours production lost.
  • Troubleshooting and repairing electrical/electronics, pneumatic, Mechanical and hydraulic system.
  • Assisting the Maintenance Leader with preventive and predictive maintenance on the facilities, CNC and production machinery when necessary.
  • Installation/commissioning and repair maintaining of CNC machinery such as:
  • CNC Lathe
  • Vertical Lathe
  • Horizontal Boring Machines

To be successful in this role you will:


  • Have a Diploma or BSc in Engineering.
  • Have a minimum of 3 years of experiences in CNC machines and other Oil and Gas production equipment’s.
  • Have a minimum of 2 years of experience in Cladding Rigs and High Pressure Unit.
  • Able to read interpret schematic diagram and blue print.
  • Be familiar with CNC Fanuc Control.
  • Able to troubleshoot and repair electrical/electronics, pneumatic, Mechanical and hydraulic system.

FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES


· Having knowledge doing general, predictive and preventive maintenance of all Injection & Blow Moulding, thermoforming machines & accessories machines allocated & giving report to superiors.


· Attend to break downs and resolve issues related to electrical, mechanical, hydraulics, pneumatic areas ensuring minimal loss of production time. Utilities experience also if there, that’s advantage


· To make alternative arrangements in consultation with the superiors, in case of major breakdown of motors, pumps and other heavy machinery parts.


· To ensure generation and maintenance of records, job cards, etc. for repair works undertaken on various equipment and other machineries.


· To provide assistance in all matters to the superior and give workable suggestions on process / machinery / efficiency improvements


· To ensure good housekeeping and cleanliness in all areas involved and works undertaken


· To ensure that safety regulations in respect of all equipment repairs are strictly followed in all circumstances.


· Ensure compliance to Safety, Quality, Food Safety and Environment requirements as specified in the global QHSE Management System with strict adherence to ISO and local regulatory authority.


· Ensure that all records and documents are up to date and have full traceability, retrieval at all times, and that all processes, procedures & activities comply with ISO and management procedures.


· To ensure that all company operational and ethical practices and policies are adhered to at all times.


· Perform any other job/task assigned by the Maintenance Executive to accomplish department objectives.



Requirements

Education/ Qualifications

· 3-5 years of machine maintenance experience in a manufacturing industry, preferably plastic/packaging industry.
