Job Purpose
The syrup operator is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the syrup room and CIP room, maintaining syrup preparation and analysis as per the MCPs and PCPs to meet PI and legal quality standards from conc, preparation up to Final batch following the product specifications (formula).
Description- Responsible for the syrup room operation and control of syrup manufacturing a per product specifications and MCPs.
- Prepare the syrup batches as per the syrup plan based on the production raised by the syrup room supervisor.
- Operate a Sugar Dissolving unit (Contimol) and maintain simple syrup brix.
- Set up and prepare a filtration machine for filtering simple syrup.
- During line start-up, supply treated water for rinsing and flush with CO2.
- Prepare the CIP chemicals into the chemical tank and keep them ready for the CIP room.
- Maintain GMP, hygiene, and sanitary conditions for the syrup equipment.
- Ensure that the simple syrup contains the correct quantity of sugar.
- Record plant information such as simple syrup temperature, cold store, and syrup room temperature and concentrate data in the syrup preparation batch sheet.
- Carry out tank sanitation (as per CIP matrix) before batching and cleaning filters.
- Make sure that the concentrates used are within shelf life, and maintain all data needs (production date, expiry date, Batch number in quality report).

- Maintain good housekeeping, GMP, and all food safety and PI norms on the syrup room.
