Job Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in mechanical maintenance within pharmaceutical companies, especially in the field of solid tablet production.
  • Ability to identify and resolve mechanical issues related to production machines and utilities.
  • Proficiency in handling various manual and electrical tools.
  • Strong understanding and interpretation of mechanical engineering drawings (Pneumatics & Hydraulics, Etc.).
  • Adherence to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) requirements.
  • Implementation of safety instructions and procedures.
  • Knowledge of assembling and maintaining different production machine kits.

  6. Providing defect liability or post-acceptance support for CVI equipment.
  7. Completing technical documentation, including service reports, engineering change requests, and inputting service data into a simple database.
  8. Ensuring all issued equipment (vehicles, spares, consumables, tools, test equipment) are maintained in a safe and suitable condition.
  9. Interacting respectfully with customers, operators, and staff, sensitive to cultural and language differences.
  10. Working safely in accordance with H&S instructions.
Qualifications
  1. Previous experience supporting complex technical products, including engines, drives, PLCs, transmitters & receivers, electrical systems, IT elements, and electrical generators.
  2. Experience with Mercedes trucks is advantageous.
  3. A proactive 'can-do' attitude with the ability to complete tasks with limited resources.
  4. Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
  5. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in technical contexts.
  6. Engineering qualification such as BTEC, C&G, HNC, or similar.
  7. Knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and electro-mechanical systems.
  8. Knowledge of IT networking solutions, with certifications like CCNP or similar preferred.
  9. Understanding of integrated IT systems including PLC, HV systems, and radar.

Job Description

  • Provide outstanding customer service
  • This position is accountable for installing, inspecting, maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing customer equipment. FSR will maintain, retrofit, and provide technical support for all Schneider products, both in the shop and on site. Work on competitive equipment may also be part of the role.
  • FSR must be available to: respond to emergency calls and for intervention, maintain service equipment, tools and documentation, and identify sales opportunities.
  • Any intervention will have to be prepared and performed in total respect of safety guidelines (prevention plan, protection equipment).
  • Comply with Safety and cybersecurity policies, practices and procedures
  • After completing risk assessment and POWRA, create near miss reports through the Enablon application
  • Perform startup/commissioning on Schneider Electric products and possibly on competitive equipment
  • Perform preventive, scheduled, and unscheduled maintenance on equipment
  • Coordinate with the customer for entry gate passes, work permits, etc., to commence work
  • Supervise installation of the supplied equipment and validate the installation
  • Participate proactively in team initiatives and management meetings to achieve departmental and company goals (SIM1)
  • Understand the scope of work, respect time allocations, and ensure full traceability (timesheets, change orders, etc.)
  • Use all digital tools designed for SE FSR
  • Track installed base (serviceable assets)
  • Install missing or short materials and complete wiring corrections/modifications in coordination with the site leader. Verify modifications before testing engineers' review
  • Upon completion of site work, validate the installation as a supervisor and submit the installation checklist to the site leader
  • Provide internal reports on corrective actions related to all installation activities and mechanical issues
  • Maintain safe custody of documentation, drawings, and calibration records
  • Support the T&C engineer and site leader during work progress
  • Perform maintenance of test equipment and tools
  • Lead or contribute to small field service projects such as end-of-life upgrades and modernization
  • Report to the T&C engineer during work progress
