ResponsibilitiesThis technician supports the installation, maintenance, and servicing of commercial HVAC systems.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Performing on-site preventative maintenance, routine repairs, and calibration after installation.
- Handling basic products and problems, referring complex issues to senior technicians.
- Using experience to determine service requirements.
- Advising managers on inspections and corrective actions.
- Collaborating with team members to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Maintaining safety standards daily.
- Performing additional duties as assigned.
- Working flexible hours, including overtime, on-call, and weekends as needed.
- High School diploma or GED
- 2-6 years of hands-on commercial HVAC experience
- EPA Certification (Type I & Type II or Universal)
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- Technical skills in maintenance, service, and troubleshooting
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong electrical and mechanical diagnostic skills
- Ability to complete repairs and documentation
- Ability to work independently and self-schedule
- Self-motivated and driven to succeed
- NATE certification is a plus
- Availability for on-call service coverage
- Occasional travel may be required
Technicians must be able to:
- Access rooftops via ladders
- Work at heights
- Load/unload tools and equipment
- Lifting up to 75 lbs. occasionally
- Lift to shoulder/overhead up to 25 lbs. occasionally
- Push/pull wheeled carts up to 150 lbs.

What you will be doing as Air Conditioning Technician- Perform regular preventive maintenance on HVAC systems, chillers, VRV/VRF systems, split and window units, and refrigeration equipment in guest rooms, kitchens, and public areas.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and resolve AC-related issues in guest rooms, meeting spaces, and hotel facilities.
- Diagnose faults and carry out repair work efficiently and safely, minimizing downtime and disruption.
- Maintain records of all maintenance and repair work using hotel reporting systems.
- Ensure that all systems operate at optimum performance levels while meeting safety, energy efficiency, and cleanliness standards.
- Assist in energy conservation and sustainability initiatives by monitoring system performance and reporting inefficiencies.
