JOB PURPOSE: To provide strategic leadership and direction in identifying potential new business development opportunities in the KSA market and GCC region. The Role
  • As a Business Development Manager, you will work with an understanding of market trends and issues across sectors including real estate, retail, education, manufacturing, and healthcare. You will act as a thought partner for teams and contribute to knowledge initiatives while supporting multiple client studies/projects.

  • Project Operations – oversee and manage client assignments, contribute to analytical interpretation of client reports, and perform due diligence on client report documents.
Accountabilities and Responsibilities
  • Research and identify new business opportunities in the UAE and GCC regions to support the company’s business plans.
  • Drive sales results by championing a client-first sales mindset.
  • Conduct sector-wise analysis to identify opportunities; build mid- and long-term business development strategy plans with the sales leader and empower team members to achieve goals.
  • Prepare marketing initiatives and collateral to enhance the company’s image to attract and secure new clients.
  • As a representative of GRMC, build and maintain strong client relationships; suggest solutions to fulfil client needs.
  • Prepare and present business proposals to potential clients to meet pre-qualification criteria.
  • Monitor market trends within the region and recommend appropriate business development strategies to Senior Management.
  • Develop a database of key executives and future project initiatives to facilitate reciprocal opportunities in existing and new markets in the region.
  • Develop and enhance relationships with clients and consultants to ensure satisfaction levels are met or exceeded.
  • Attend promotional events to identify new leads and introduce GRMC to prospective clients.
  • Analyze RFPs to determine project scope, schedule, capabilities, profitability, and client credibility.
  • Support Senior Manager in preparing the Company’s business plan / strategy; drive marketing and rollout strategies for new product introductions.
  • Manage ongoing pipeline and sales forecasts; represent the GRMC brand within the industry.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Strong business development and client growth skills with a proven sales track record.
  • 5 years of experience in solution sales; high sales skills required.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Highly analytical with meticulous attention to detail; in-depth knowledge of research processes and marketing/business development strategies.
  • Experience as a Content Creator with some LinkedIn experience; ability to build marketing campaigns from scratch; familiarity with content management systems and publishing articles.
  • Ability to fact-check long-form content; understanding of B2B marketing strategies and market research tools; ability to extract data and develop customized reports; proficiency in SEO concepts and data analysis.
  • Postgraduate degree in business, economics or related disciplines; fluent in English; Arabic is advantageous.

Delivery Manager - Public Sector (On-site)

You will be responsible for the successful delivery of individual project workstreams by working closely with clients and small teams.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

You’ll take ownership of a small project or independent workstream within a larger project, developing functionally coordinated plans with specific initiatives and timelines.
In this role you’ll actively manage the client relationship during the project, supervising or working closely with client teams to achieve project goals. You’ll be part of the project team on the ground, monitoring and evaluating performance and efficiency, and coaching less tenured team members.
You will strive to build client capabilities through continuous, on-the-job coaching to ensure sustained impact beyond the end of the project. You’ll specialize in one or more service line and will become a subject matter expert in your chosen sector or function.
You’ll strengthen the firm’s knowledge base by codifying learnings from projects, and sharing your knowledge with your teams.

QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Undergraduate degree in business, economics, engineering or a related field with an outstanding academic record
  2. 6+ years of business/public sector experience, with a clear record of achievements and proven drive for personal growth; international experience is a plus
  3. Demonstrated experience in one or more of the following key service offerings is a plus: organizational development (including org. design/set up, talent management, etc.), transformational delivery (implementing large transformational programs), and productivity and performance improvement
  4. Ability to successfully manage and deliver small – medium sized projects and/or manage small units with budget responsibility
  5. Superior problem solving and relationship building skills, including a demonstrated high level of client service commitment
  6. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and with people across all levels of an organization
  7. Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop teams
  8. Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively in English and Arabic
  9. Willingness to travel, predominantly within the Kingdom
