Job Description
One of our clients, a leading company specializing in Transportation and Logistics,
is currently looking to hire a
Preservation Specialist
to join their team in
Ras Al Khair, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preservation Planning:
Develop and implement preservation plans aligned with organizational objectives and regulatory requirements. - Supervision:
Lead and supervise preservation and maintenance teams, assign tasks, provide training, and ensure adherence to quality standards. - Inspections:
Conduct regular inspections of company inventory to identify preservation needs, safety hazards, and compliance issues. - Maintenance Activities:
Coordinate and perform preservation maintenance such as repairs, replacements, and renovations to maintain asset integrity and longevity. - Budget Management:
Prepare and manage preservation budgets, including expense forecasting, expenditure tracking, and resource optimization. - Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of all preservation activities, including work orders, maintenance schedules, inspection reports, and compliance documentation. - Emergency Response:
Respond promptly to emergencies such as equipment failures, weather-related damage, or safety incidents to mitigate risks and minimize downtime. - Training & Development:
Provide continuous training and skill development opportunities for preservation and maintenance staff. - Compliance:
Ensure full compliance with all preservation regulations, building codes, environmental standards, and occupational health and safety requirements.
Job Requirements:
- Education:
Bachelor's degree in
Engineering, Preservation Management, Facilities Management, Construction Management
, or a related field — preferably within the
Oil & Gas or Shipyard industry. - Experience:
Minimum of
8 years of experience
in preservation maintenance, facilities management, or equipment/tools management, including experience in a leadership role. - Knowledge:
Strong understanding of preservation principles, techniques, materials, and technologies. - Regulations:
Solid grasp of building codes, industry standards, and regulatory compliance related to preservation and maintenance. - Language:
Fluency in
English
(spoken and written).
