Responsibilities
You will be responsible for the implementation of the "Construction, Fit Out and Ops" H&S programs locally in relation with all relevant stakeholders, with the "Construction, Fit Out and OPS" teams, to develop a real H&S culture, to meet the group H&S objectives in compliance with all applicable regulations and within the framework of a continuous improvement process.

  • Implement and manage locally the Data Volt H&S policy and program including processes, procedures, meetings, reports, KPIS, communication, best practices.
  • Define the missions of the "Construction and Fit Out" H&S third parties in relation with the "Construction & Fit Out" teams which manage the related budget then supervise and control its proper execution.
  • Act as the main point of contact for H&S matters to meet customer expectations in accordance with H&S policy.
  • Report to the H&S Manager Group on the implementation of the H&S policy and program then alert him, if necessary, to any difficulties encountered in order to define together the solutions to be implemented.
  • Ensure the completion of risk analyses related to High-Risk Activities (HRA) and the integration of related preventive measures in all the relevant documents: MOPs, etc. by all stakeholders.
  • Participate in H&S regulatory monitoring, ensure compliance with all H&S regulatory requirements and act as the main point of contact for all administrative agencies regarding H&S.
  • Participate in the proper maintenance and deployment of the IMS in all countries where the group operates about the ISO 45001 standard.

Experience & Qualifications

  • 8+ years' experience in managing an H&S approach on a site where various technical activities related to the management of industrial buildings with coactivity between several companies take place, ideally in the data center industry.
  • Engineer profile or equivalent Bac + 5.
  • Ability to identify, understand and implement the mandatory requirements and the recommendations of external organizations regarding H&S.
  • Knowledge and practice of H&S audits.
  • Knowledge and practice of analysis and continuous improvement tools: FMEA, 5M, cause trees, PDCA, etc.
  • Knowledge and practice of the ISO 45001 standard.

Role Summary

Role Description
  • Ensure compliance with all Occupational Safety & Health standards, including the ISO Safety Management System (SMS) throughout the project
  • Communicate OHS standards and requirements with stakeholders across projects as required
  • Responsible for the development of OHS policy, plans, and procedures for the project and ensuring implementation through execution
  • Guide OSH compliance with site teams on inspection activities and expedited close out of non-conformances

  • Promote awareness of organizational safety, health, and environmental policies among all employees.
  • Advocate for the use of safer work equipment, materials, and supplies.
  • Maintain accurate safety records, reports, and certificates in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Support HSE inspections, audits, and self-assessments to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Manage environmental processes including waste management, pollution prevention, and chemical handling.
  • Oversee industrial hygiene, equipment protection, machine guarding, and related health and safety programs.
  • Conduct safety assessments, deploy corrective measures, and reduce hazard risk profiles.
  • Plan and execute training programs, toolbox talks, and awareness sessions to improve HSE competency.
  • Lead regular HSE meetings and safety inspections.
  • Mentor and manage HSE personnel, providing guidance and support.
  • Track incidents, prepare reports, and communicate lessons learned across the organization.

Accountabilities

  • Proactively prevent unsafe acts and conditions and reduce accident rates.
  • Drive on-the-job safety initiatives across all departments.
  • Schedule and chair safety committee meetings.
  • Safeguard employee health and workplace safety.
  • Ensure effective implementation of HSE training programs.
  • Guarantee compliance with all legal and statutory requirements.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field.
  • Professional HSE certifications (NEBOSH, IOSH, ISO 45001 or equivalent).
  • Minimum 05 years' proven HSE management experience, ideally within industrial, oil & gas, or any manufacturing sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of international HSE standards and Saudi regulations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and incident investigation skills.
