**Overview**:
We are seeking a Technical Safety (Process Safety) Engineer to join the Saudi Aramco Loss Prevention organization (LP), which is the corporate safety organization within Saudi Aramco. We provide both day-to-day in-field occupational and process safety support to Saudi Aramco operations, as well as centralized technical support and consulting function. Our field offices are located in Abqaiq, Riyadh, Ras Tanura, Dhahran, Udhailiyah, Jeddah (including Yanbu and Jazan), and Tanajib. Through these offices, LP provides its services to all Saudi Aramco facilities and departments that are located throughout the Kingdom.

Your primary role as a Technical Safety Engineer is to work with key stakeholder organizations to provide technical guidance on facility design requirements pertaining to fire prevention and process safety engineering areas, including but not limited to firewater systems, fireproofing, emergency shutdown systems, drainage systems, tank designs, electrical classifications, pipeline design factors, equipment access and layout, spacing, risk areas

**Duties and Responsibilities**:
Provide technical guidance and develop procedures for all company organizations on fire prevention and process safety engineering in facilities design and related operational requirements, including company and international standards (e.g., NFPA, API).

Review all new projects to ensure conformance to company and international engineering standards; represent LP at project proposal meetings, and provide continuing guidance through design, construction, and commissioning.

Provide company-wide technical guidance and assistance during design-related surveys of Aramco facilities for adequacy of design, operations and maintenance.

Analyze fires and process safety incidents both in the industry and at Saudi Aramco to determine causes and whether company standards or other requirements require update or changes, or whether other remedial measures should be considered.

Initiate and participate in studies to resolve specific problems outside currently available technology.

Develop training programs in the field of process safety and fire prevention engineering and provide training assistance as required.

Use risk analysis techniques to identify corporate risk exposure and develop cost-effective solutions.

Assist in surveys of Saudi Aramco operations by insurance, Government, and other outside agencies, and act as the Company expert on fire prevention engineering standard requirements.

Mentor other LP personnel.

You will have an excellent ability to communicate in English with peers as well as members of management and be able to produce clear and concise oral and written reports in English.

The Manufacturing Technical Support Division is a multi-disciplinary organization with interface to technical, and in some cases business, support requirements for our Global Manufacturing Admin Area. Its function caters mainly to the technical needs of GM Operating facilities. Your primary role will be to handle process safety engineering aspects. This will include ensuring safety management compliance and improving safety of multiple operating facilities from Global Manufacturing Admin Area. You will also be responsible for providing technical support on high priority process safety engineering and management issues.

Key Responsibilities
- Ensure safety compliance of each operating facilities.
- Develop and maintain safety Policy, documents and procedures.
- Work with refinery teams to identify Process Hazard Analysis opportunities and make recommendations to achieve more safe operations.
- Analyze and monitor refinery Management OF Change (MOC) use on daily basis and conduct MOC audits.
- Monitor refinery Process Safety Event Reporting and Evaluation.
- Conduct jobsite observation, field inspections to collect data for process safety analyses.
- Conduct internal benchmarking studies among the oil and gas refineries.
- Organize technical exchange workshops among the oil and gas refineries Develop and deliver training material to promote process safety awareness among refinery personnel.

Minimum Requirements You must hold a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering. You should have a minimum of 15 years’ experience in refining /oil and gas plants /petrochemical industries. You must be able to demonstrate efficiency in the codes and standards in the oil and gas industry, i.e., API, BS, ISO, ASME, ANSI, IEC, ISA, IEEE, etc. You should have Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills in the field of process safety engineering. You should have working knowledge of oil/gas-related plant processes. You should have familiarity with development of process safety roadmap, and setting targets of safety key performance indicators. You should have strong data collection and data analytic experience to improve safety concern and advise for better safety performance. Strong management and coordination skills.

The role will focus on delivering complex Fire and Life Safety strategies and solutions across major infrastructure and building projects, ensuring compliance with local and international standards

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Fire & Life Safety team on multidisciplinary projects.
• Lead design efforts to ensure compliance with relevant building codes and standards, developing performance-based design solutions where necessary, in collaboration with senior staff.

Overview

As an Environmental Health & Safety Engineer (EHS), you will play a crucial role in fostering a safety culture and ensuring compliance with EHS standards. Your day will involve conducting risk assessments, implementing safety measures, and supporting project teams in all aspects of safety and environmental issues, while also ensuring adherence to ISO 45001:2018 and ISO 14001:2015 standards.

How You’ll Make An Impact

• Apply and enforce EHS awareness and safety culture across all operations.
• Conduct pre-operational risk assessments and develop effective control measures.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi laws and Siemens Energy guidelines.
• Gather and submit documentation and reports as per the EHS Management System.
• Support the implementation of Siemens Energy’s Zero Harm Programs.
• Conduct EHS training sessions, toolbox talks, and lead project meetings on EHS issues.

What You Bring

• Relevant qualifications in Environmental Health & Safety or related fields.
• Experience with ISO 45001:2018 and ISO 14001:2015 standards.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi legal requirements and Siemens Energy guidelines.
• Proven ability to conduct risk assessments and implement safety measures.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills for training and meetings.
• Familiarity with incident management processes and emergency preparedness.

Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
