Position OverviewThe Electrical repair technician must diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair vehicle electrical and electronic systems to OEM standards—ensuring safety, functionality, and factory-spec performance in areas such as wiring, lighting, infotainment, ADAS, and high-voltage systems.
The Repair Technician must be able to practice teamwork and team building within our organization. Ability to follow standards and meet business requirements. Responsibilities will include assessing vehicle defects, carrying out repair work including body alignment, and replacing damaged parts. You should be skilled in using a variety of hand and power tools and have a keen eye for detail.
The Role- Lead, motivate, and manage a team of mechanical repair technicians, ensuring productivity, quality, and adherence to safety protocols.
- Provide technical guidance and support to team members on complex mechanical repairs, troubleshooting, and maintenance tasks.
- Ensure that all repairs meet LUCID standards and specifications, maintaining high quality and compliance with warranty and safety requirements.
- Schedule and prioritize repair tasks to optimize workflow, minimize downtime, and meet operational deadlines.
- Train new team members and provide ongoing skill development to ensure the team remains knowledgeable about the latest repair techniques and Lucid updates.
- Maintain accurate records of repair work, parts usage, and equipment performance. Report on team performance, repair trends, and potential issues.

- Use OEM diagnostics tools (scan tools, multimeters, oscilloscopes) and vehicle software to pinpoint electrical faults.
- Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical bulletins.
- Repair, replace, or rebuild wiring harnesses, connectors, sensors, modules, and actuators per Lucid specifications.
- Handle ignition systems, starters, alternators, lights, HVAC controls, ADAS sensors, and immobilizer systems.
- Safely diagnose and service EV systems—battery packs, inverters, motors, charging equipment—with high-voltage safety procedures.
- Perform software updates and battery health scans.
- Accurately document fault codes, repair work, replaced parts, and time in work orders.
- Explain issues, repairs, and preventive recommendations to Supervisor for root cause analysis.
- Follow Lucid workshop rules, PPE usage, and EV high-voltage safety protocols.
- Ensure proper disposal of electrical components and workshop materials.
- Maintain and calibrate diagnostic tools, test benches, power supplies, and specialized equipment.
- Cooperate with engineers and technical teams to troubleshoot design or recurring defects.
- Flexible in supporting other repair functions when business requires.
- Ensure PDI and Handover activities to ensure Safety, Quality & Delivery are being met.
- Track vehicle processing to ensure readiness for handover within the agreed ETA date.
- Ensure reactivity to issues, obstacles and constraints and report out results to Supervisor for swift escalation.
- Track inventory/parts ordering in repair area with associated reaction and escalation.
- Implement cars hold and release when required.
- Ensure repair confirmation for vehicles are done following process.
- Ensure coordination with OTA/Software team for Software updates.
- Ensure coordination with repair flow for vehicles readiness.
- Ensure full use of Sales Force Application for vehicle tracking, status update and records.
- Forge excellent cross-functional relationships between Manufacturing, engineering, and other relevant departments.
- Technical Diploma with 5 years’ experience in automotive Industry or equivalent role Is required.
- English Language functional literacy. Arabic Is a plus.
- Automotive/Manufacturing/Repair experience is a must.
- Strong ability to work with multi-disciplinary teams.
- Ability to understand and use improvement/reaction plans to achieve targets.
- Familiarity with OEM quality inspection processes and standards.

Overview
BecTech, Inc. is seeking two qualified Workshop Machinery Repair Technicians who are skilled in assessing and repairing workshop machines such as lathes, presses, drills, mills, pipe-threaders, saws, and related equipment. The role includes inspecting, maintaining, and repairing shop machinery, providing on-the-job training (OJT) to the local repair workforce, and defining requirements for new and replacement machinery as applicable. Some CNC experience is desired.
Work ArrangementWork will be performed under a US DoD contract for short-term assignments in Saudi Arabia. The contract involves two 30-day stints per year for three years, with travel, accommodations, per diem, local transportation, and salary provided. Depending on workload, additional trips may be necessary over the three-year term. There is no obligation to commit to multiple trips; trips can be taken one at a time. First trip starts after Thanksgiving and completes before Christmas.
Responsibilities- Inspect, maintain, and repair workshop machinery.
- Provide on-the-job training (OJT).
- During each visit, meet with Saudi Navy personnel to survey shops and define requirements for workshop improvements.
- After initial assessment, provide a list of equipment to be procured, maintained, and repaired to support the Saudi repair forces' workshop machinery.
- Determine additional equipment needs to meet the Saudi repair workforce's requirements.
- Install, checkout, and provide operator instruction and logistical support for new and rebuilt machinery.
- Define requirements for new and replacement machinery and propose a plan of action for subsequent visits.
- Coordinate with the prime contractor's in-country Project Manager to accomplish the work.
- Technically qualified in machinery repair procedures and requirements.
- U.S., Canada, Australia, or EU citizenship required.
- U.S. DoD security clearance and overseas work experience preferred.
