As a Health Club Manager , you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the hotel’s Health Club & Wellness facilities, ensuring the highest levels of guest satisfaction, safety, and service standards. You will lead the Health Club team to deliver exceptional guest experiences, maintain high hygiene and safety standards, and drive membership sales and revenue in line with IHG brand standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Oversee the overall operations of the Health Club including fitness center, swimming pool, spa/sauna, and recreational areas.
2. Lead, train, and motivate a team of fitness instructors, lifeguards, and attendants to deliver a consistent, professional, and welcoming service.
3. Ensure all equipment and facilities are well-maintained, safe, and comply with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
4. Develop and implement wellness and fitness programs tailored to guest and member needs.
5. Manage membership sales, renewals, promotions, and guest engagement activities to maximize revenue.
6. Monitor guest feedback and take proactive actions to continuously improve service quality.
7. Control costs while maximizing operational efficiency and profitability.
8. Ensure compliance with IHG brand standards, policies, and procedures.

• Previous experience in managing a health club, spa, or recreational facility within hospitality or a luxury environment.
• Strong leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of fitness, wellness, and spa industry trends.
• Ability to deliver exceptional guest service with a strong commercial awareness.
• First Aid and Lifeguard certification is an advantage.
• Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages preferred.

About the job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental Al Faisaliah Riyadh within the Health Club Department, the Health Club Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the spa & wellness operations to maintain a high level of service and oversee all operating aspects of the Spa and Wellness facility.

As Health Club Supervisor, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Understanding and communicating all corporate and hotel policies and standard operating procedures to colleagues.
• Ensuring all business activities and decisions comply with laws, rules, regulations, and the MOHG Code of Conduct.
• Managing daily operations of the Spa & Wellness, including guest and colleague interactions.
• Planning the rosters of Spa Concierge and attendants based on operational needs.
• Conducting daily briefings with the concierge and attendant team.
• Holding weekly meetings with the Spa Operations Manager.
• Organizing Spa Concierge and Spa Attendant training sessions.
• Assisting Concierge & therapists with Spa Soft questions and obstacles.
• Ensuring all spa charging procedures are followed, including initiating accounting procedures, monitoring guest charges, and reconciliation.
• Handling discounted marketing charges for treatments and products efficiently.
