What does the job look like?

  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of (CVD)-CardioMetabolic Diseases and Diabetes and Medochemie's current and future portfolio within the assigned categories across all regions and markets
  • Steward the global strategy, positioning, lifecycle management, and commercial success of assigned products or therapeutic categories across all regions and markets

  • Be the champion in the development and implementation of marketing & communication strategy for CVD across our regions, maximising the number of markets to launch the company's future pipeline
  • Partner with local marketing teams to collect market and customer insights on CVD, so that Global Marketing develops multiple 360 marketing programmes to the point of handover, where the local marketing teams take on the adaptation and execution
  • Harmonise value propositions and messaging, delivering clear communication on the features and benefits of TA products
  • Develop pricing strategy and launch sequence plans, liaising with the local commercial teams
  • Create marketing campaigns, marketing materials and customer presentations working cross-functionally on a headquarters and/or market level
  • Incorporate digital marketing and multichannel initiatives in the campaigns (CLM presentations, iPDF, newsletter, webinars and other) to enhance sales effectiveness
  • Be responsible for coordinating, where required, the internal training of all teams across regions and ensuring readiness for new launches and strategy implementation
  • Monitor the effectiveness and efficiency by which plans are implemented by utilizing a host of internal and external data, including market share reports, competitive data monitoring, of internal and external data, including market share reports, competitive data monitoring, sales performance for each brand/business unit assigned
  • Collaborate with country/region teams to identify new product opportunities to grow the business and liaise with business development in managing the new product development processes for bringing these new ideas to market. Create business plans to drive above-market growth

  • Deliver presentations and secure the confidence and buy-in of organisational partners on new business plans

What does it take to do the job?

  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or related field (MBA or MSc is a plus)
  • 2–5 years of global/ wide regional experience in pharmaceutical marketing and product management/ Commercial within the CVD therapeutic area (European Generics experience is advantageous)
  • Strong ability to interpret data, conduct market analysis, and craft product/ brand management plans and strategy. High accuracy in data analysis and reporting, and sound creative thinking competencies
  • Understanding of pharmaceutical marketing and commercial practices across multiple regions and countries. (Imported generics experience is a plus)
  • Proficiency in IMS/ and other Market Assessment tools, in addition to digital marketing and e-commerce platforms
  • Strong presentation and cross-functional collaboration skills

  • Develop and implement strategies for investment products and services that meet market and investor needs, while innovating new investment products that enhance the region’s attractiveness and competitiveness.
  • Design and implement targeted marketing campaigns to attract local and international investors and manage the investment identity of products and services to ensure alignment with the region’s strategic brand.
  • Build a comprehensive marketing mix for investment products—including pricing, distribution, promotion, and branding—and ensure that all marketing strategies are fully integrated with the organization’s investment plans.
  • Conduct market and investment research to identify emerging trends, analyze investor and customer behaviors, and prepare investment and marketing feasibility studies with strategic recommendations for decision-makers.
  • Coordinate with government entities, regulatory bodies, and private companies to support product launches, while building and maintaining strategic partnerships that ensure the success of investment products and strengthen the organization’s position.
  • Represent the organization in local and international investment exhibitions and forums, promoting investment products and showcasing opportunities available in the region.
  • Define and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of investment and marketing initiatives and prepare periodic reports for senior management that highlight performance and continuous improvement opportunities.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 7 years of practical experience in product development and investment marketing, preferably in the government or semi-government sector.
  • Proven expertise in strategic planning, investment marketing, and feasibility studies.
  • Strong track record in building and managing relationships with investors and strategic partners.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong leadership and strategic planning capabilities.
  • Advanced skills in investment marketing and product development.
  • Ability to prepare feasibility studies, financial and market analyses.
  • Proficiency in using analytical and financial tools (Excel, Power BI, etc.).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and partnership-building skills.
  • Full proficiency in English (spoken and written).
