Job Summary
Manage and oversee all warehouse activities including receipt and distribution of items, handling,
storage and inventory thus maintaining sufficient economic quantities that fulfill companies operational
needs. Ensure efficient processes and maximize warehouse productivity.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Supervising the monitoring of the receipt stocks, and checking the delivery invoices and items delivered for conformance with purchase orders.
2. Supervising the implementation of the inventory control systems and procedures.
3. Supervising the administration of the processing materials release orders and directing the issuance and delivery of materials to the concerned entities.
4. Administering the maintenance, housekeeping and security of the warehouse.
5. Preparing the proper storing area for the expected shipment upon receiving a copy of the Purchase Order considering the Zoning and Coding Procedure.
6. Supervising the location of the received items in the prepared area inside the warehouse.
7. Supervising the arrangement of the received items in the undelivered items area complying with the proper storing conditions for the items.
8. Checking (using the ERP system) if the requested items in the Material Request Form are available in the warehouse or not.
9. Periodically supervising the inspection of the warehouse fire fighting special equipment and
tools for ensuring their safety and effectiveness.
10. Conferring with concerned staff to ensure coordination of store activities with activities of
other functions such as production, sales, and purchasing.
11. Inspecting physical condition of store and equipment.
12. Preparing periodic reports with respect to the department’s activities and achievements to be submitted to the Sr. Manager Logistics.
13. Following-up on subordinates’ affairs including vacations, leaves…etc.
14. Carrying out performance appraisals for subordinates according to scheduled plans and recommending necessary actions.
15. Performs all other duties assigned by the Manager Materials Management
Job Requirements
Qualifications / Licenses
– Diploma in any related field
– Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent is required
– Certified Professional in Distribution and Warehousing is an advantage
