Job Description
As a geotechnical engineer, you will be responsible for analyzing incoming quotation requests. You will understand the application in which the geotextile is used and advise the sales team, consultants, EPC contractors, etc., on the most suitable geotextile selection to achieve a win-win situation, making the client the preferred partner of choice.
Client positions itself as a solution provider. Therefore, the geotechnical engineer should be seen by customers as a knowledgeable and trustworthy conversation partner, not a typical salesman lacking a civil engineering background. With this professional background, the civil engineer understands the application and aims to convince consultants or contractors of the advantages of the client's products. Where necessary, they can persuade decision-makers to deviate from or ignore irrelevant original tender specifications to save costs or qualify the client as a supplier.
While mostly working from the office, the geotechnical engineer will join the sales team for meetings, seminars, or presentations for key decision-makers such as Aramco, Ma’Aden, municipalities, ministries, consultants, EPC contractors, etc., ensuring professional and credible communication. They will also liaise with consultants or other parties requiring professional advice.
In addition to providing technical advice, the engineer will analyze ongoing projects using available business and market intelligence tools and advise the business unit director, business development manager, and sales director about key projects requiring geotextile products, so resources can be focused effectively.
Key Responsibilities:- Advise the client management, sales team, clients, and decision-makers to achieve business goals, maintain a positive company image, and ensure stakeholder satisfaction.
- Assist in developing and deploying marketing strategies and policies aligned with business requirements and corporate plans, promoting the company's image and services.
- Research and study the market potential and prospects in assigned regions or accounts.
- Provide monthly updates on key projects requiring attention from sales or business development teams.
- Represent the company to customers to foster positive marketing and customer satisfaction.
- Perform tasks according to client policies, procedures, and management systems.
- Support the implementation of the company's vision, mission, policies, and values.
- Ensure activities comply with legal, safety, environmental, and quality standards, promoting safe behaviors and eliminating unsafe conditions.
Saudi Networkers Services (SNS), founded in 2001, is a joint venture between UK-based Networkers International and Saudi Networkers Services. SNS employs over 1,600 professionals across the MENA region, is ISO 9001 certified, and has served more than 380 contractors in KSA.
