Job Information: General labor and machine/equipment operation tasks to assist in the re-packaging of different polymers, rubbers, and materials.
Shift: 2nd (3pm - 11:30pm)

Payrate: $19.50 per hour

Contract/On-Boarding Process: Temp-to-Hire / Resume required, interview required, drug test required.

This position offers a clear pathway for training and growth within the company. After completing your hours, you will be converted to FTE to start your career!

Overview

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Production Operator II is responsible for making sure that production lines have raw materials for operation, handling change overs, operating process equipment, and related duties. They will maintain production records and ensure standard operating procedures are followed. They must comply with all regulatory, safety and environmental requirements.

Shift availability: Monday – Thursday 5:00 AM – 5:00 PM or 5:00 PM – 5:00 AM.

Responsibilities
  • Supply production line with cappers and tippers
  • Monitors equipment in case of malfunctions
  • Responsible for line assisting in change over
  • Read and follow spec sheets
  • Run Tuber machine
  • Ability to run all production equipment
  • Work on production lines
  • Follow safety and quality standards
  • Fill out quality paperwork for shift
  • Keep work area clean and orderly; remove trash
  • Attend palletizers and supply the production line; operate controls
  • Manually place cans and occasionally handle pallets
  • Work on production lines

Requirements

Qualifications of Production Operator II:

  • Ability to work well under minimal supervision

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to work in a chemical manufacturing plant environment
  • Ability to perform strenuous, sometimes repetitive physical work such as climbing, lifting objects up to 50 lbs and pushing/pulling objects
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Able to work in extreme temperatures

This is for day shift; the hours are Monday – Thursday 6:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
