**Role Summary**:
The Principal Engineer for Saudi Arabia and Bahrain is the technical authority within the region supporting engineering, sales and operations on all technical matters for both our pump aftermarket and original equipment manufactured and serviced at our state of art Dammam facility.

During this rapid growth phase this exciting and challenging role is pivotal to the continued operational success and development of our technical processes and capabilities supporting our expanding original equipment manufacture, packaging and testing along with pump service & repair, parts and equipment upgrades as we continue to grow and capture the vast Flowserve and competitor installed base.

The Principal Engineer will be the most senior engineer in country and will report to the Middle East Engineering Manager and will have technical decision making responsibilities to support sales and operations while providing functional guidance and leadership to ensure Flowserve best practice, solutions and responsive service levels to both internal and external customers.

**Responsibilities & Requirements**:

- Deep knowledge and know-how in the general field and is considered an all-round pump expert, both internal Flowserve as well as for customers.
- Cascades knowledge to other engineering resources and prepares and conduct trainings in the specialty field.
- Mentors and oversees Engineers in region.
- Prepares recommendations regarding technical aspects in delivering solutions to customers.
- Provides high level technical support for both aftermarket and original equipment EPC orders.
- Demonstrates clear technical risk assessment and approvals for technical proposals, problems solving and engineering quality.
- Visit’s customer sites with sales on high level meetings and maintains relationship with key contacts at customer sites related to field of specialization.
- Coordinates all high-level technical support from the region/country with Engineering Teams, Product Management and/or Design Center.
- Assists sales in all technical customer presentations and special customer technical forums in local region/country.
- Assists in all necessary training in local region/country (customer, engineering, repair centers, sales force, field service etc.) on Industry and/or Product specialty. Coordinates with the Educational Services Group.
- Supports operations in the execution of orders is required with clear problem solving and technical decision-making expertise.
- Works in conjunction with operational management, sales, and corporate engineering.
- Works with Sales and business development to provide high level technical support to win complex opportunities and grow the engineering aftermarket business
- Equally comfortable presenting technical solutions to customers or engineering initiatives to senior management.

Ensures work ethics and practices meet company’s policy and best practices.

**Preferred Experience / Skills**:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent;
- Demonstrated leadership skills in both project engineering and services;
- Ability to provide technical leadership and guidance to different cultures;
- In-depth knowledge of pumps and seals aftermarket (preferred), upgrade and rerate solutions and engineering disciplines.
- Proven skills in leading RCA’s, both in the field and the back office;
- Result oriented, to ensure the overall business objectives are met;
- Language skills in addition to English are an asset to this position, not essential;

Senior Project Engineer - Electrical Engineer & Civil Engineer

Electrical Engineer:

1. Candidate shall have extensive Electrical knowledge and experience in Oil and Gas field to verify and direct FEED/Detail design packages.
2. Knowledgeable in ETAP and general electrical system studies, calculations, electrical area classification, plant layouts related to power, lighting, grounding, substations voltage rating from 480V up to 115/230kV including substation automation.
