JOB DESCRIPTION

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Day to day inspection and reporting activities.
  • Work in accordance with ARM QMS and HSE procedures& policies.
  • Supporting workshop foreman in monitoring, identification, and traceability process.
  • Perform timely incoming inspection (materials, steel structures, capital equipment, mechanical parts).
  • Review and approval of supplier inspection report.
  • Perform timely quality inspection in accordance with Inspection and Test Plan (ITP), Router, drawings and quality instructions in the shops.
  • Perform visual and dimensional control of weld joints.
  • Perform visual, dimensional control of steel structures, including quality of painting.
  • Review and control of painting production process (temperature, humidity, thickness of wet and dry layer)
  • Perform required NDT inspection or review NDT reports (for outsourced NDT processes)
  • Prepare required inspection reports.
  • Monitoring and maintain the measurement instrument/ equipment calibration up to date.
  • Create Non-conformance reports (NCRs), when required. Provide marking and isolation of nonconforming products/ parts.
  • Create disposition plan for every Non-conformance report, monitoring status of created NCRs and implementation of disposition.
  • Re-inspect nonconforming products/ parts after repair/rework.
  • Need to perform duty as and when required by Shop supervisors and job priority.
  • Involve in internal and external audits.
  • Perform another work-related task as assigned.


Facility/Group Specific Responsibilities:

  • Perform a wide verity of inspection and quality control operations in visual, dimensional, and functional nature, making necessary critical observations, tests, or competing appropriate documentation as required.


Education/Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • AWS/CSWIP CSWIP 3.1 Certified Welding Inspector as minimum.


Experience Required:

  • Minimum 3 years of weld visual inspection experience.
  • Knowledge in reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
  • Familiar with API 4F, 8C, and 16A, and AWS D1.1 code requirements.


The following are a plus:

  • NDT Level II for PT, MT & UT.
  • NACE or BGas Certified Coating Inspector level II.


Key Competencies & Skills:

  • Good understanding of the Company Quality Management System
  • Knowledge in reading and interpreting engineering drawings; AWS D1.1 inspection criteria; and understanding material specifications and requirements.
  • Acceptable skills in use of inspection and measuring equipment.

Job Description

Job Purpose

The syrup operator is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the syrup room and CIP room, maintaining syrup preparation and analysis as per the MCPs and PCPs to meet PI and legal quality standards from conc, preparation up to Final batch following the product specifications (formula).

Description
  1. Responsible for the syrup room operation and control of syrup manufacturing a per product specifications and MCPs.
  2. Prepare the syrup batches as per the syrup plan based on the production raised by the syrup room supervisor.
  3. Operate a Sugar Dissolving unit (Contimol) and maintain simple syrup brix.
  4. Set up and prepare a filtration machine for filtering simple syrup.
  5. During line start-up, supply treated water for rinsing and flush with CO2.
  6. Prepare the CIP chemicals into the chemical tank and keep them ready for the CIP room.
  7. Maintain GMP, hygiene, and sanitary conditions for the syrup equipment.
  8. Ensure that the simple syrup contains the correct quantity of sugar.
  9. Record plant information such as simple syrup temperature, cold store, and syrup room temperature and concentrate data in the syrup preparation batch sheet.
  10. Carry out tank sanitation (as per CIP matrix) before batching and cleaning filters.
  11. Make sure that the concentrates used are within shelf life, and maintain all data needs (production date, expiry date, Batch number in quality report).
  12. Provide the necessary job request for any maintenance of equipment.
  13. Maintain the equipment, COP, gaskets and strainer check as per the syrup checklist.
  14. Collection of all required data for M&W like Sugar and concentrate consumption.
  15. Maintain good housekeeping, GMP, and all food safety and PI norms on the syrup room.
  16. Maintaining compliance with food safety and safety in the syrup room.
  17. Additional responsibility for processes whenever required.
Qualifications

Diploma/degree in Mechanical, Electrical engineering/ Chemistry
