**Major responsibilities of a Food Safety, Health, Safety, Environment and Quality Control Officer (FSQC-HSE Officer)**:
- Responsible for overseeing, verifying, and validating the end-to-end program of Food Safety, Quality, Health, and Safety services within the NEOM Community Foodservices.
- Drives a highly effective levels of Food Safety, health, and environmental culture at all times by verifying and validating policies and procedures taken from best practices, company, local and international standards within all NEOM Community Food Services facilities.
- Incident investigations and risk assessments are a key part of the role, the FSQC-HSE Officer is responsible to identify potential risks and hazards and have a great understanding of root cause analysis through, a keen eye for details and consistent study on safety and quality-related issues.
- Responsible to ensure contractual compliance for all the Food Safety and specifications of manual, products and processes, policies, procedures, standards, and contractual obligations is met by the operational teams.
- Delivers daily TBT (toolbox training) and trainings to ensure all safety and quality guidelines, inclusive of induction trainings of new staff and retraining of current staff.
- The role also includes the improvement of the organization’s efficiency and profitability by reducing waste.
**Key Accountabilities & Activities**:
- Verifies compliance to company and NEOM approved standards through structured site inspections and audits to ensure consistent, quality product, Food Safety and Hygiene.
- Conducts supplier inspection and audits.
- Ensures all food products are received based on Food Safety and quality standard.
- Performs Hazard analysis, Risk assessments and deliver method statements.
- International and local Food Safety and Quality Control policies, procedures, and standards from dispatch till service.
- Completed induction and awareness training to the staff.
- Reports any non-conformities, unsafe condition, hazards and incident to the line manager.
- Reports any accident/incident and NCR to the department within timeframe and follow up the corrective actions until completion.
- Investigates incident/accident and non-conformance safety, hygiene and quality related.
- Investigates customer complaints and provide written communication regarding root cause and opportunities for improvement.
- Monitors, reports and recommends via audits and observation relating to industry best practice stipulated by official bodies such as the Food Standards Agency (UK), ISO & SASO
- Maintain NEOM approved incident reporting software and upload as required.
- Ensures compliance with ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 22000:2018 for all NEOM related sites.
- Ensures full compliance of client FS, HSE, OHS, Waste Management, environmental management, and Sustainability policy and procedures.
- Performs all other related duties as requested by Food Safety & Health and Quality Control Manager.
- Issues permit to work.
- Ensures the sites are HSE compliant and any colleague wellbeing or HSE related hazards are identified and rectified for a safe work environment.

**Knowledge, Skills, and Experience**:
- Proven experience in theory and operations of Food Safety, inclusive of ISO 22000:2018, HACCP, Quality Management (ISO 9001:2015), Occupational Health and Safety (ISO 45001:2018).
- Knowledge about all Food Safety standards that are customary within the food industry and mandated by government regulations include the Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) management system required by the Saudi Food and Drug Administration (SFDA).
- Very good working knowledge of Health & Safety and hygiene requirements and regulations.
- Must have a flexible approach to work and be able to work as part of a team - Good English language ability, both spoken and written.
