1) Daily Operations:

  • Implement the day-to-day operations assigned to the Quality Control Department to ensure compliance with the established standards and procedures.

2) Specific Job Accountabilities:

  • Ensure compliance with local and international quality control requirements as well as company policies and procedures.
  • Review, sign, and submit QA/QC prepared by inspectors to clients, in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Review the Non-Conformity Report (NCR) submitted by the client and conduct root cause analysis, formulate preventive/corrective actions in coordination with QA Team.
  • Participate in periodically audits by preparing the required QC documentation and evidence of compliance.
  • Monitor and analyse quality control processes to identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and quality.

3) Direction of Subordinates:

  • Organize and supervise the activities and work of inspectors to ensure that all work is carried out in an efficient and procedurally compliant manner.
  • Evaluate team performance, provide formal and informal feedback, identify training needs, and implement development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Provide instructions to subordinates and monitor their adherence to relevant policies and procedures so that work is carried out in a controlled manner.

5) Safety, Quality & Environment:

  • Comply with all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in industrial or mechanical or any related filed in engineering.
  • 7+ years relevant experience in quality control in the construction industry.
  • Certificate in ISO 9001 & ISO 45001 is required.
  • Leadership, communication, and documentation development skills are required.
  • Familiar with construction codes (AWS, EN, AISC, ASME & Aramco)
  • Certificates such as Certified Welding Inspector and Certified Coating Inspector are mandatory.
