We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Product Owner to join our product team. You will translate the high-level product roadmap into actionable plans for engineering teams and support the Chief Product Officer (CPO). The ideal candidate has a strong background in banking, a solid understanding of Islamic finance, and familiarity with the Saudi Arabian financial market.
Responsibilities- Requirements & User Stories: Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into clear, well-defined user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Roadmap Execution: Support the CPO in developing and refining the product roadmap, providing input from development teams and market feedback; execute the tactical delivery of this roadmap.
- Agile Ceremonies: Act as the dedicated Product Owner for a development team, leading sprint planning, backlog grooming, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Stakeholder Alignment: Serve as the primary point of contact between the development team and stakeholders for day-to-day product matters, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
- Domain Expertise: Apply knowledge of banking, Islamic finance, and KSA market regulations to ensure features are compliant, relevant, and effectively solve user problems.
- Acceptance & Validation: Collaborate with QA teams to define test cases and ensure delivered features meet the acceptance criteria and business objectives.
- Experience: 5-7 years of proven experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role within FinTech or financial services.
- Core Banking Knowledge: In-depth understanding of retail and/or corporate banking products, processes, and systems (e.g., core banking, lending, payments).
- Islamic Banking Expertise: Demonstrable experience with Islamic finance principles (e.g., Murabaha, Ijarah, Sukuk, Mudarabah) and their application in software products.
- KSA Market Insight: Strong, practical knowledge of the Saudi Arabian banking sector, including regulatory frameworks and market trends.
- Language: Native or professional fluency in Arabic is highly preferred. Professional proficiency in English is mandatory.
- Technical Acumen: Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle; experience with middleware, APIs, and microservices architecture is advantageous.
- Agile Proficiency: Extensive experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

- Experience with large-scale transformations in Personal/Corporate Banking or Core Banking systems
- Technical Expertise
- Strong command of enterprise architecture, application platforms, and integration technologies
- Deep knowledge of: Microservices, Containerization, API platforms
