What will work look like for me?

Our Field Service Engineers provide phone, remote, and on-site support for installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Daktronics products.

Onsite Support Consists Of Supporting Daktronics Equipment And End Customers Where The Equipment Is Located. This Work Will Primarily Focus On

  • Providing service, installation, or support during an event at a customer site.
  • Providing on-site technical and maintenance services for Control Systems and Display Systems.
  • Leveraging your knowledge by training our Service Partners.
  • Regularly participating in technical training on new and different products and systems to advance your technical knowledge to support Daktronics Customers.
  • Actively creating and updating knowledge base articles for internal/external use.
  • On-site technical support may include terminating fiber, field repair, testing and system level troubleshooting.

Remote Support consists of supporting Daktronics equipment and end customers. This work will primarily focus on:

  • Providing technical, over-the-phone support to internal and external customers.
  • Responding to customers’ requests for technical support primarily through incoming and proactive outbound calls.
  • Providing software application installation/configuration support along with “how-to” assistance.
  • Troubleshooting and solving basic to sophisticated hardware and software technical issues.

Qualifications

To be considered for Field Service Engineer, we require the following:

  • Minimum of an associate degree plus relevant experience. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Preferred majors include Electronics Engineering Technology, Computer Engineering Technology, A/V Broadcast, or similar program. Will consider non-technical bachelor’s degree if applicant also has previous experience demonstrating technical learning ability.
  • Two or more years of experience in a similar role is preferred.
  • Able to work at heights, work from a ladder, and ability to carry ladder/tools/parts from vehicle to work site.
  • Available to work evenings, midnight shifts and/or weekends to support facility event schedule.
  • Fluent in English and Arabic, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to travel by air and ground. Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
  • Must be willing and able to travel outside of the KSA. The majority of the travel will be throughout the Middle East, West/Central Asia and Africa. Occasional travel will also be required to locations such as the United States, China, and Europe.

Role Summary:
The Field Service Technician installs, commissions, monitors, troubleshoots, and repairs Flowserve’s pumps, seals, and other equipment across industries such as oil and gas, chemical, nuclear, coal, and wastewater industries, depending on the customer engagement.

In this challenging position the Field Service Technician (FST) provides real-time technical support to our customers, and provides recommendations for repairs, upgrades, and replacement equipment. - Proven ability to correctly read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and schematics

- Capable in Outlook, Word, and Excel
- An active driver’s license with a good driving record is essential to the role.
- Able to travel, including globally, for extended periods of time
- Able to work overtime as required to minimize impact to customers

The **Field Service Engineer** for Radiometer is responsible **for ensuring Customer Excellence through troubleshooting, installation, preventative maintenance, and service repair needs on Radiometer analyzers. The FSE is an external representative of Radiometer and must convey a keen sense of expertise in Radiometer products, services and capabilities and serve as a key educator to our customer business accounts.**

This position is part of the **Customer Support** function located in **Dammam, Saudi Arabia** and will be **working hybrid set-up**. At Radiometer, our vision is to improve global healthcare with reliable, fast, and easy patient diagnoses.

**In this role, you will have the opportunity to**:

- Advanced troubleshooting, installation, preventative maintenance, and servicing of analyzers for the assigned installed base. Maintain tools and test equipment to ensure they are properly calibrated.
- Complete assigned Regulatory Field Action Notes and Technical updates within the specified due dates and meet all applicable regulatory requirements.
- Install our analyzers and conduct customer user training as required.
- Identify and participate in sales opportunities such as new contracts, contract renewals and new analyzer and IT Solution sales.
- Order and manage spare parts cycle time by accurately recording spare parts used on service jobs.
- Comply with company regulations, guidelines, policies, and compliance requirements.

**The essential requirements of the job include**:

- University graduation in biomedical engineering, mechanical/electromechanical engineering, electronic engineering, or equivalent qualification.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience as a field service engineer in healthcare industry in Medical & POC devices/Diagnostic equipment, expert in troubleshooting, Networking/connectivity setup and IT system upgrades.
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate complex technical issues in an easy-to-understand manner.

**It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in**:

- Working with SQL database, Java, Mirth.
- Working with Microsoft Office Tools & CRM.
