Role Description
The Regional Group Exercise Manager will be the strategic and operational lead for GymNation's Core Group Exercise offering across multiple clubs within a designated region. This role ensures the successful launch, growth, and ongoing excellence of all core Group Exercise products from pre-opening preparations to post-launch performance.
The role will oversee recruitment, training, and management of the Group Exercise Management team and full time GXI's in each club, guaranteeing brand consistency, operational efficiency, and exceptional member experiences region-wide.

Coaching & Guest Engagement:
- Deliver
personalized Tennis and Padel coaching
, adapting techniques and goals to each guest's level and needs. - Lead energizing
group classes and personal training
sessions focused on technique, strategy, and mindful gameplay. - Encourage mental locus, emotional awareness, and body alignment throughout play to deepen the mind-body connection.
- Foster an inclusive, engaging, and motivating environment where guests feel confident seen, and supported.
- Educate guests on the mental aspects of the sport— resilience, breath control, rhythm, and flow.
- Provide thoughtful feedback and celebrate guest progress, helping them feel empowered and accomplished.
Program Development & Innovation:
- Design and implement creative
Tennis and Padel programs
, including beginner workshops, advanced clinics, and wellness-integrated sport retreats. - Stay up to date with current trench, strategies, and techniques in both sports, integrating them into lesson plans.
- Collaborate with the wellness and fitness teams to create hybrid programs that combine movement, mindfulness, and emotional wellness.
- Introduce
mindfulness-based techniques
into lessons, supporting focus and clarity on and off the court.
Safely & Risk Management:
- Conduct daily
equipment inspections
, ensuring all racquets, balls, nets, and court surfaces are safe, clean, and guest-ready. - Follow all
health, safely, and hygiene protocols
as per Miraval standards and
Saudi Arabian regulations. - Proactively identify and report potential hazards or equipment concerns.
- Ensure safe physical practices are upheld during all training to prevent injury and promote sustainable movement.
- Maintain CPR and first aid certifications and respond appropriately to any guest incidents.
Operations &Service Excellence:
- Prepare all coaching spaces with attention to detail, ensuring a welcoming and professional environment.
- Support resort-wide wellness operations with flexibility and care.
- Maintain guest confidentiality, professionalism, and respect for cultural norms at all times.
Revenue Generation & Guest Upselling:
- Actively and mindfully promote
paid private sessions, group classes, spa and wellness programs,
and exclusive events through outstanding guest engagement and personalized recommendations. - Collaborate with the spa, wellness and retail teams to
cross-sell relevant services and retail items. - Deliver service with warmth, sincerity, and deep product knowledge, naturally encouraging guests to explore more of what Miraval has to offer.
- Contribute to departmental revenue goals by meeting personal upselling targets in an authentic and guest-centric way.
Guest Relations & Emotional Support:
- Build meaningful guest relationships based on trust, empathy, and active listening.
- Provide emotional support, encouragement, and guidance throughout each guest's wellness journey.
- Share insights on how sport can enhance overall well-being, boost self-confidence, and foster a balanced lifestyle.
- Ensure guests feel seen, valued, and inspired —regardless of age, experience, or ability.
Team Collaboration & Leadership:
- Collaborate with the broader fitness, wellness, and spa teams to ensure a seamless guest journey.
- Mentor junior instructors and staff interested in Tennis and Padel, modelling leadership and excellence.
- Contribute to team meetings, cross-department initiatives, and special resort experiences.
Professional Development & Brand Support:
- Participate in Miraval's
professional development and training programs
, refining your craft and staying at the fore front of the industry - Contribute to content for guest education, resort marketing, and wellness storytelling related to Tennis and Padel.
- Represent Miraval The Red Sea with professionalism and enthusiasm at external wellness and sport events.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Certified Tennis and/or Padel Coach with recognized credentials (e.g. USTA, ITF, PPTA, or equivalent).
- Minimum
2 years' experience
coaching in luxury resorts, wellness retreats, or high-end sports facilities. - Proven track record of leading private sessions and group classes for diverse skill levels.
- Strong understanding of physical conditioning, movement mechanics, and mental training in sport.
- Proficiency in English; Arabic language skills are a plus.
- Additional certifications in

Key Accountability Areas
Oversee and manage the gym facility and related equipment.
