PURPOSE OF THE PROJECT
Strategic advisory and execution support for cards portfolio optimization initiatives spanning across key KPIs like ENR, spend, authorization etc. To drive growth in card activation, customer engagement, utilization, balance build through strategic planning, campaign execution, and portfolio optimization leveraging data analytics, merchant partnerships and other lifecycle management tools
Key Activities
Core Responsibilities And Accountabilities
- Analyze portfolio trends and develop strategies to improve activation, usage and retention
- Support to develop and implement strategies to grow the credit card portfolio in line with the business targets
- Support the initiatives related to customer engagement & balance build. This includes end to end management of campaigns across channels to grow spends and balances
- Support the credit card instalment plans strategy, including design and construct of payment plans, implementation of an effective sales strategy and optimizing revenues
- Design and implement lifecycle campaigns and customer engagement programs and be responsible for end to end campaign management and driving appropriate customer communication.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure smooth execution of all campaign and offers
- Optimize portfolio performance through segmentation, targeting, and offer personalization.
- Provide execution support for campaign rollout, tracking, and reporting.
- Liaise with internal and stakeholders to align on campaign objectives and KPIs.
- Ensure compliance with internal approvals and regulatory requirements.
- Help manage the financial performance of the credit card portfolio. Develop financial forecasts and budgets, monitor actual performance vs. targets & identify opportunities to mitigate any headwinds

- Increase in plastic activation rate, spend activation rate, spend/card etc.
- Improve card utilization, ENR/card, installment sales.
- Manage credit limit increase and decrease activities
- Data driven portfolio campaigns along with pre campaign and post campaign results
- Customer engagement and activation metrics
- Development of new partnerships to supplement value for cardholders
- Portfolio growth and retention rates
- Timely execution of planned initiatives
Knowledge And Experience
- 8 -10 years in banking, payments, or consulting with a focus on credit card portfolio optimization, digital engagement, card product management (Regional experience preferred)
- Bachelors degree or equivalent qualification. Advanced degree or MBA preferred
- Knowledge of Cards P&L, Revenue, Loyalty programs and campaign management will be a big plus
- Fluent English required, Arabic fluency preferred
- Comfortable with significant client interaction and interest in building relationships
- Proven track record in campaign execution, customer segmentation, and performance analytics.
- Advanced Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills required, knowledge of Project Management tools
